Of course what they do isn't any more palatable when they pretend to be nice but the way this call ended was a mask removal of sorts.

@@mitchellroberts7954 That sickens me. And honestly, I don't think the Indian government would do anything about it. Even if they wanted too, the crooks within the police department would not let the procedures go further. If you don't believe me, the cops are in on it. @@fukkitful that's because it depends on the autisme itself. you got hundreds of different ones others are more noticeble, and others aren't. sorry for bad english
@@fukkitful We get this a lot. "Oh you don't look autistic..." "You don't act it, I never would have guessed." How does someone "act" a certain disability? You don't "act" blind, you don't "act" like you have depression, and you don't "act" autistic. The thing is, Autism is a *spectrum disorder*, and some people have more severe symptoms than others. I for example am very mild, but it still makes it difficult for me to function sometimes. I still have issues communicating properly because I misread scenarios, or I say more than I should, or I assume friendship and closeness where there's none. A lot of us have actually learned to camouflage some aspects of our disability - example, I don't "hand-flap", I instead twirl my hair or click a pen. And many of us have learned how to react socially, but that doesn't mean we're always good at it. You randomly make loud noises, I still get flustered. You put me on a time crunch, I still panic. You mess with my workspace and workflow when I had everything in order, I still get annoyed and it still frustrates me, but I'm not going to melt down about it. Autism isn't a thing that is a certain set of symptoms and then it goes away after childhood. It's a social disability. People like us *cannot* read people well, understand intent, or necessarily communicate the way someone not on the spectrum does. That's why we're at risk for being scammed, taken advantage of, or fooled. We literally cannot pick up on the subtle social cues that someone is lying unless we learn otherwise or are taught what to look for, and it's worse for us often when we're tired. To us, not only is everyone wearing a mask, we ourselves are wearing masks, because if we take the mask off people seem to think there's something wrong with us. There really isn't, we just have brains that work in a very, very different way. It's not that we're broken, we just have something that is a bit of a hurdle for us sometimes in a world that really isn't built for us. And half the time, we might not even know why we're the way we are ourselves.
I'm 65 and disabled. Got a call yesterday from a scammer who asked about the 'accident' I had. "Have you had an accident?" I replied I had and when they asked what had happened I informed them that I was the passenger in a car and my back had been broken. They hung up. I wonder why.

Is there much that BT can actually do? These sorts of calls of scammers pretending to be telecoms companies 'supporting' clients seem to be rife. I mean, if our law enforcement can't actually track them (yet Jim can) - and when they do cannot do much of anything as they're overseas anyway...
Jim usually uses tricks like pretending to be a victim and he may do things such as install a R.A.T software on their machines to gain access to their network (many scambaiters use specialist harder to detect software that isn't easily available and disguise that R.A.T as a legitimate looking software such as notepad or Microsoft Word)
The percentage of dislikes in videos like this are directly proportional to the percentage of personality disorders in the population. There will always be a few evil people bringing anything good down.

Not related to the video, but related to scams: Today in my English class(~high school) the teacher actually said she had been called by a number not from here(Germany) and they started to talk in English to her, but she didn't hang up there because she thought it could be someone needing help or something, but the caller said they were from Microsoft and her PC would be corrupted by 67%. The caller/scammer wanted her to start her PC, but my teacher knew they just wanted remote access to scam and she knew they were probably from an indian call centre. She also told us to just not pick up the phone if that number(she wrote it on the board) called us. I think its interesting that these scammers even try to scam people who don't speak English as their main language.
They are indiscriminate. It really doesn’t matter who the person is, what language they speak, or how old they are. The way scammers see it, it’s always worth a try to steal from them regardless.
Once got this scam call that claimed to be from the Prosecutors' office (aka "attorney") and told me that some criminal used my bank account for transactions and stuff, mentioning a bank that I don't even use. Her accent of my language was so stereotypically awkward, almost like that Indian English. I would've liked to just play along with and troll her for fun, but too bad I was at work that time so I just hung up.

Brad Maggard from a RUclips comment and profile pic? No, of course you wouldn’t.
@@fukkitful maybe because we're normal people just like everyone else?

Watching and listening to this, my heart pounding and thankfully this time the couple were saved by lack of memory on both their parts. Heart back to normal now.
You’re one of the few good ones on this earth, bro.
I like to think the old couple actually knew it was a scam the whole time and just wasted the scammers time.
I have never before felt the urge to curse as I do know.
What lousy people these scammers are. Bankrupt, of any emotions, feelings, for the weak, elderly, disabled. Horrible dedicated liars & fraudsters, Government where are you. Good job Jim
Chez John they are just keeping their heads above water, they need these jobs to keep their families alive. Yes I had the call centres these scammers are in but not the scammers themselves, usually the scammers don’t like doing these scams but it’s the only job they could get and the only job keeping them alive.
The dislikes are from people who didn’t understand the title and didn’t watch the video
Should've been "scammers scamming disabled people"
i actually laughed at how the title sounds
Yep
No probably people who hated watching this and broke their heart
Scammers
I wish I had skills like you so I can join in on helping people. And shut these scammers down
take a course on ethical hacking.
Being a white hat
This makes me want to vomit. I have both physical disabilities that mean I need 24-hour care and I did have a scammer try to take advantage of me specifically because of that - thankfully I was entirely aware of what he was doing and was stringing them along in the hope it would at least keep them from bugging someone else but it disgusts me that when I reported the person to instagram (as he was sending me DMs lying about who he was and trying to scam money from me) they did nothing - apparently they see nothing wrong with someone pretending to be someone famous and trying to scam money - repeatedly - from fans of that person, taking advantage of their disabilities, lying and saying it's going to a charity for orphaned kids that the celeb is known to support, and which his fans have raised tens of thousands of pounds of money for (as well as tens of thousands more for other charities for helping the victims of human trafficking, guide dogs, Alzheimers etc). It's disgusting.
Facebook is just as uninterested. People openly ripping others off, but nothing is done when reporting these scams. Sadly it's all about the money...they DO NOT care about us in the slightest. Sorry to hear the same thing is happening on other Social media sites. The internet is a fantastic thing...but it needs these huge multibillion pound .com businesses to crack down on theives.
Just Another Bucky Lover nice pfp

Wish you are doing good :)
yet at the same time, my instagram account gets deleted for "selling drugs" because of a joke post i made
people these days care more about jokes then literal parasites
I pass your YT channel onto everyone I know to raise awareness (just like yourself) in my eyes, you Jim should have a MUCH larger sub base 👍🏻
You are a LEGEND my friend
Keep up this EPIC work 👏👏👏
I hate these scammers so much, They have no mercy even for the ones in need
I work at a bank and I would like for everyone to know that when we ask you questions it’s not to get you in trouble, it’s to keep you protected and out of trouble. We don’t think you are doing something wrong we think you are being a victim and that’s why we ask questions. Please be honest with us it will only benefit you. Even if it isn’t in my job description I make it a point to talk to every one of my clients about frauds and different things they should do and to stay safe and the importance of not giving your information to anyone. It’s not fun having someone crying at you desk cuz they just lost their savings and there nothing you can do. And I imagine that it’s 10 time worst being the person that lost their savings.
Sickening.
Whenever scammers call me on my phone I waste their time and ruin their mood.
Also I love how they throw tantrums when I call them out at the end of the call.
Same I love to mess around with these people
I work as customer service agent for Lloyds and we would never log in to their accounts or ask for personal passwords. If it's a genuine call centre they should have all necessary info. I feel terrible after watching this...
ASMR Valkerie: This vicious, ruthless Indian female scammer needs to be hunted down (along with the rest of them). We genuinely need Bounty Hunter videos linked with Jim’s videos of them victoriously hunted down and put in prison for life, so that Jim’s noble hard work always prevails in protecting the public.
@@thereseember2800 sadly, I live in India and no major action has been taken against these scammers other than the ones who were 'properly' caught red handed through raids etc which are very few.
It is really sickening but the people who you call scammers are just normal people desperate for jobs who were lured in by "good pay" from the CEOs of these companies.
They search for people who can mimic foreign accents (more like mask their Indian accent somehow) and they are trained for a few months on how to scam
呪Noro: You are WRONG! They are massively and successfully being hunted down as we speak. Europol, Eurojust, the FBI, Interpol, Microsoft, Apple and Google, the UK, America, Australia and Canada have globally banned together and these criminals ARE successfully being put in prison! They even arrested and extradited one Indian national as he was trying to exit Dubai. It’s global that it IS being criminally addressed. Scammers in 26 different Call Centers in New Delhi alone (and nearby) were put in prison. Indian scammers are causing NO ONE globally to ever trust ANYONE with an Indian accent. So it’s crucial to STOP these unconscionable criminals.
Jim is a HERO and his hard work to protect the public meets with profound success. Thank God that there are valiant noble heroes just like him in this world, taking these criminals down.
A Russian scam ring was also put in prison.
No shit
@@asit6947 These are tax paying companies employing these thieves?
Thank you for your amazing work Jim. You are respected by millions of people all over the world ❤❤❤
This is sickening, there are gutter rats who have more to offer the world. I wish these scammers a painful and slow death.

"I'm so sorry to hear about you" this utterly awful woman
This makes me sick poor woman, thanks Jim for your hard work. Im got call ffrom scammer last week however they got nothing and you have made me more aware THANKS
"dont worry ill just clear everything out of your account"
Shit bruh that’s all I need to hear. Here’s my bank info
This makes me sick to watch but I'm kind of glad I did. Really proves that we, the technologically sound, need to educate our grandparents and parents so they don't fall for this in future.
Keep doing what you're doing Jim. It's an important fight.
At 11.57,I you can hear another scammer shouting “go to your iPad “...sounds like another vulnerable victim on the line.
Just when i thought scammers couldn’t get any lower but then again they have no morals or empathy
This video appeared in my recommendation. I watched the first 5 mins and.. damn i can't watch it any longer :(

Not related to the video, but related to scams:
Today in my English class(~high school) the teacher actually said she had been called by a number not from here(Germany) and they started to talk in English to her, but she didn't hang up there because she thought it could be someone needing help or something, but the caller said they were from Microsoft and her PC would be corrupted by 67%.
Same thing happened in Austria. Those guys called a refugee camp and told them to start their non-existent windows PC LOL
They are indiscriminate. It really doesn’t matter who the person is, what language they speak, or how old they are. The way scammers see it, it’s always worth a try to steal from them regardless.
Same here (also Austria), my mother received several calls from „Microsoft“. We have a Mac....
wtf not from germany, wtf
Once got this scam call that claimed to be from the Prosecutors' office (aka "attorney") and told me that some criminal used my bank account for transactions and stuff, mentioning a bank that I don't even use. Her accent of my language was so stereotypically awkward, almost like that Indian English.
I would've liked to just play along with and troll her for fun, but too bad I was at work that time so I just hung up.
I would've never imagined I could name a time in which loss of memory is beneficial...
My heart broke to see all this. Lucky escape for the couple. Thank you for such a great video . It is a shame how cold hearted some people can be. If the scammer is watching this video, remember Karma will return.
really, my husband is disabled, well take the laptop to him.. unbelivable,
quick question. how on earth does these people sleep at night.
With money in their ears.
+Korruption K Ha, those Indians are lucky to have 10 rupees in their pockets at the end of the day.
@@jeffw1267 not really Jim has got access to salary information before and these people can make a decent living and if they are independent they make even more money it's a lucrative business

Its not a business, it’s a crime.
@@AlphaQHard Crime is business and to think it isn't is ignorant look at the structure of organized crime even back at the commission with multiple Italian mob bosses it's like a board of executives a smart business man is also a very capable criminal if he applied himself to it
This is one of the most shocking things I saw on the internet. How is it possible to do such a thing.
This are horrendous -people- -animals- non-hearted living beings.
These are some of the sickest people , they should all be jailed for their crimes for 5+ years but sadly Authorities wont do anything , most probably they already know about them and collect payment for protection . That is how things run. I highly appreciate your work Jim . Thank you.
These scammers can make all the excuses they want, but if they aren't spending at least an hour or two a day, every day, looking for a new job, I don't believe they really want out.
I’m so glad I’ve found this channel! It’s making me much more aware about my internet safety!!!
Again, as I say every video, Big thanks to you Jim for being very nice guy and deal with the situation very professional, not just running random viruses on scammer's pc and scream and laugh into microphone. Live long Jim.
To be fair running random viruses and laughing maniacly would be pretty funny too
@@ConfuzzledTomato funny maybe, fun no.

You are doing a wonderful thing. Not easy to watch, bit the ability to share of awareness is priceless.
