Fun story, my ex is multiracial and absolutely looks like he is a typical white American boy, just very tan. He took his dad's name which is an absolutely typical American sounding name, think something like James Smith or Chase Jones. But when he opens his mouth, because they lived close to his mothers family in Northern India, he has a super thick accent. He moved to the states when he was in his early 20s and now does work for the IRS. Everyone thinks it's a joke when they meet him.
The cover and yelling at the end as the scammer tries not to get in trouble with his boss was heartbreaking and sweet and just...gah. This was deeply beautiful and tragic.
I know it's a crime, but when you hear the stories of the scammers that open up like this man, you have to feel badly for them. Walk a mile in someones shoes, some of these people are stuck. I'm sad for him.
I do some casual scambaiting on my lunch breaks, and I had a very similar interaction today. The scammer told me, similarly, that he hates stealing for a living but COVID-19 forced him into the line of work after his legit call center job was shut down. He said most of them are educated and have families that they are trying to feed. I’m not sure how sincere he was, because I’ve had one other scammer tell me about the same before. They generally have a justification that they are stealing from rich Americans and that they can afford to lose that money. Seeing from Kitboga’s videos and hearing my wife’s stories from working at a bank, this is rarely the case, as they ruthlessly target the elderly and immigrants.
The scammers probably justify it thinking even poor Americans have more money then them, they probably don’t think about how stuff is more expensive here too
I actually talked to a guy recently on a scam call who said he was taking money from people that were criminals. He was brainwashed to believe that he was doing good because the victims are criminals. I asked him how he thought that and he said that people that fall for the scam do so because they have something to fear, that they have done wrong so they’re more likely to believe someone is coming after them. I think at the end of the day he realized he was wrong and we had a nice conversation and honestly I hope he is doing okay and that he found something else
@j trk Yeah, my sister is one of them, and with my state running out money because of COVID-19, my mom likely be on the chopping block, too. But, they don’t go and scam people out of their hard-earned money. This sucks for everybody, and knowingly stealing from others is wrong, COVID or not. More so that these scammers specifically target and abuse the elderly.

This scammer is in a class of his own. It's sad that he had to choose this path. He'd make a very good white collar worker. When was the last time we used the term oblique?
He said he couldn't get a different job, I mean I can't prove that it is wrong. But There might be different jobs. We all suffered under the COVID rules, but stil your country had to run, so maybe you could do jobs, but maybe not the most attractive ones. Like all sorts in the health care-sector. Just as an example They needed people but you had work also night shifts and on weekend and probably not earn what you would expect. So sitting in a clean office "only" working Mo. - Fr. in an office and try to steal peoples money certainly sounds more attractive, right?
The last time I got one of these calls, I asked where the _other_ 40 kilos of coke was and where the hell was Carlos? Then I ranted about how the cartel was going to kill his entire family if they didn't get to Carlos first. Then I asked the scammer where Carlos was, because they were obviously in collusion.. ...they hung up on me.

These guys are just lazy to work hard. I used to work 18hrs a day For 140$/month and free food
@Scramboll People act more offended in the comment section than the people making the videos do. Armchair moralizing is so stupid lol. This is actually scary... I was at work today and I was just thinking about the “angriest scammer” video, thinking about scammers, and I wondered if we would ever see a video with Kitboga interviewing a scammer and asking about their day in the life. Then this shit pops up...
One of the coolest vids because of how open and honest this scammer acted. I’m honestly impressed (if what he actually said was true). And truly sad too, out of $20k, he only gets $100? That’s awful!!! I don’t blame him for hating his job and for hating his employers!!

@I'll taketh thy cheese by force yes. People are saying that in India it's hard to get a job and it makes sense. But this isn't no excuse to rob your grandma out of her hard worked money that took months if not years for her to get just so that they can earn a few bucks.
@@enchantedmg3415 true but it's not "their" grandmother. And honestly imagine your father and your family pressuring you into doing something because it's the only job available and you have to work. Honestly that came off genuine to me. This was truly a weird one. I can understand in a country where this is almost a normal job to be going through a struggle like this. It’s hard to sympathize with a scammer praying on most old folks but the guy seems to truly hate his choices and feel stuck. At least he want to change. It’s a start.
I like how when you first find Kit, its like mind blowing and hilarious that this stuff happens... and then once you get used to it its just like "here we go..." Just like he over the years has gotten more confident and easy going about the whole thing. The scammers have to go WAY off script these days to surprise him. Otherwise he is the one trying to make the chaos.
This is by far one of the most interesting and different episodes you have produced. I am fascinated and please do a follow up interview if that is what you are planing on doing. This is very psychologically interesting. He is very level headed, different than other scammers. I see this going places with exposing what really happens behind the scenes.
Unfortunately if the guy ever came out publicly (like for an interview) he would probably face real danger. It's an insanely lucrative industry that is run by some horrible people

I mean unless you're working for yourself, or are in a worker coop, everyone is being scammed by their boss. Someone who owns a business literally only makes their money of other peoples work. If you produce $100 of value for the company, most of that value goes to said company, and in turn their investors, while you get the breadcrums left behind, even though you actually did the labor required
Exactly what Elin said. If you earn your company $30/hour, they're obviously not going to pay you $30/hour because they want to make a profit off of your labour.
For sure. Just some quick maths on the profit figures where I work shows that in just an hour or two of work, us on the factory floor have generated enough value to pay for that entire day's salary. Most of us make the company 10x the money they give us.

I think at the end of the day he realized he was wrong and we had a nice conversation and honestly I hope he is doing okay and that he found something else

on the one hand, this is terrible and on the other...i hope we're not being emotionally scammed...yet, i would rather it not be true? iunno T_T
This ones kinda heartbreaking. Poor guy doesn't wanna do this and knows its wrong but has no other choice. Kinda makes me feel bad for them a bit.
Ricky Bobby: I'm in pharmaceuticals.....
Also Ricky Bobby:. What's Cocaine??? 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Apparently, it's an "abusive drug"
@@NerdnetCA my sister is a pharmacist and she says this all the time.
Let's hope his Boss does Not use his Recorded Call For Training And Quality Purposes.

😂
@@tylerjp9797 That's funny 😆
@@tylerjp9797 No, they were right. It's "Let's" *, contraction of Let + Us. Grammar Nazi correctly, man!

A good reminder that good people can do bad things when they are desperate. I hope this guy has a better job now.
You need to do one where your browser is "frozen" so you refresh it and it takes away the html change they made
I believe kitboga did that. "Oh, it must have been a transmission problem. I refreshed the page and everything is all right now. Nothing to fix. Bye!"
@@MetalheadAndNerd do you remember which video was that? I'd love to watch it!
@@tirkdiamond No, I watched about 50 of his videos in a row and totally lost track of what was what.
@@tirkdiamond I know the video Metalhead is referencing, but I can't remember the name of it. My first guess is try the $2M one.
@@efulmer8675 thanks!
Yo, he was a fun guy. At least there’s guys like him out there.
“I don’t even know how to do cocaine”....scammer explains... 😂
Lol
let me show you!
Whats cocaine? Is it a food
Read the comment. Then the words come out of Kitboga's mouth. I love when that happens. Its the little things....
I don’t think the scammer knew any more about it more than what he explained lol
I love how he starts sharing reminiscences with you about the good old days of IRS scams.
This guy is too smart and intelligent to be doing this. I hope his life turns around, he genuinely sounds like a good guy stuck in a bad situation.
This is the first time I've ever actually felt for the scammer. He actually seemed like a chill dude. I wish him the best and I hope he can get out of there
can we hook up with a legit business in India to help the scammers actually willing to change?
Then he won't make vids niether make money.
@@TheDesperato There's always going to be scammers for him to call. How often do calls like this happen?
Believe me.. those scammers in india, if they got a better chance most of them will change.. if so.. scam bait youtubers will turn into baby's clothes maker. Lol
If you've watched Jim Browning then you know the local police/cyber police will do nothing about it. The only way I've seen these scams get taken down for real is when they get hacked and doxxed, which scares them enough to rebrand and rebuild. But people like this know no other way to get by, plus there's big money in it.
There are plenty of opportunities in India, these people are just the scum who choose the get rich quick route.
I like how this makes the scammers seem more human. He's trapped doing something that he knows is wrong.
'I've had police calls before, but not this week.' 🤣
Normal people: *falls asleep to music or nature videos*

The guy was actually nice when he broke character. I feel bad for him, and I hope he'll get a legit job.
I don’t feel bad for a criminal who steals from people. What about the people he stole from?
@@TheBobelly628 It's India. He might have been forced to do this, or he had no other option.
@@TheBobelly628 I watched another video who broke character, he was forced to scam otherwise they would get abused/attacked, his life is on the line

That’s perhaps one of the very few moments that there is a genuine conversation.
This is the one guy I actually felt for.
