I haven't had a lot of experience with ET XA unless it was Paradisio, but going by what little I've had, I guess I would go with ET XA over the Cazcanes
The El Tesoro Anejo had a super strong pepper aftertaste, too much for my liking. Nice upfront though. Not sure if others experience it the same or I have a bad bottle.
Tequila always get that punch and burn when made with a tahona vs shredder. The Tapatio anejo doesn't have that punch and burn.Which is also made by the same brand though with shredders. Nice review Lou,when is the next Mezcal review coming on😉
Lou, I was thinking of picking up this bottle locally, so I strolled on over this this video. Great video, but man have prices changed. El Tesoro's Anjeo in Oct-20 (date of video) was $50 at Old Town. As I'm writing this in Feb-22, that bottle is now $70 at Old Town (I'm paying $80 in Virginia).

I haven't tried the anejo yet, but the blanco is a favorite of mine and the reposado is also very good.
It is really good but I think it is more like 69.99.
My go to anejo. Love this stuff. Also just opened the Single Barrel Reposado yesterday and was like, OH. MY. GAWD. Salud.
I currently have the Reposado version of this. Very tasty! Love the Tahona top also.

Just finished a bottle such a good tequila enjoyed it so much I just purchased a bottle of the Extra anejo in the blue box. Have u tried it?
