Very nice! What thickness of styrene do you use for 'bases' of your models? I really like that technique as able to salvage a model vice gluing directly to base foam/ply/etc.

Depends on size and weight of the piece and how you plan to mount it. Small a/c unit can be built and mounted directly to a roof with .10 whereas a large building would possibly require .60-.80

@@PostmoderneModelWorks Many thanks, I plan on using that method for all the structures I'm working on to 'set' into base so easily removable for cleaning, detailing, etc. Obviously, will have to have terrain/sidewalks/roadways/etc planned out to accommodate. Seen this done on a few other videos but don't recall exactly what they use. I do know of a modeler that uses very fine plywood but the good Canadian kind, not the stuff we get here at local box stores in states.

@@MRR_Shadowolf consider building as much as you can from styrene and try and make any and all vertical structures removable. I’ll try and do a short clip of what I’ve done and post it in the next few days.
