Every day that I see your model I remember when I bought the house and I didn't choose one with an extra room for almost the same price just because it was older... I hope one day I can have a room so I can enjoy as I did You do your little by little assembling my model. By the way I love your videos and tricks, you learn many tricks and steps.
Marklin, you are my "go to" guy for learning technics. Always very matter of fact, then once in a while "CHAINSAW!!!" LOL!!! Love it when you throw in random stuff like that, like when you were singing "death metal" lmao. You're awesome, please keep making videos!
Great video as always. Found sticking a small quantity of figures to bottle tops with double sided tape easier to manage. A queue on the side of the paint bench waits for the next time I mix a paint colour for a larger model as always spare paint after.
great video again. One tip I have is to say that I use Sharpie pens to do mine as well. You can get them with fine tips, and are very easy to use and do the Jobe really well.
Thanks for the great tutorial, I acquired 3 dozen unpainted figures at a train show and was delaying painting them. Even though I model in HO I have to use a very powerful lighted magnifying glass to see what I'm doing. Thanks for the tips. Tom
Nice video! as always is a pleasure to watch your work and the way you improve every item.Pd :I asked my ten years daughter to paint some Preisser figures ,and I was amazed with the detailed results!!
Bachmann always throws in a package of pink figures in their HO train sets, at least I now know what I can do with them if I get another train I don't need!
Great video, small scale figures, 1:72, 1:76, 1:43.5 and 1:48 are always tricky. Too much detail painting on the face can detract as much as too little. I think that your techniques are very good, and new to me/different to my approach😊👍
I use cheap artist's acrylic colours. Paint whole figure black, dry-brush with white, mix some THIN acrylic colours and exactly like you paint flesh, shirt, jacket etc. Best wishes to you 😊
+Khoirun Nisa Hi! 😊 Here in Europe there are two leading manufacturers; "Preiser" and "Noch". They mainly make European style people like "workers" and "passegers". That might not be what you want. However, here's one link to get started: www.preiserfiguren.de/ Good luck! ❤️
Thank you for the tutorial! The idea with the first layer in airbrush to stop the floating of the colours is great! On my channel you can see a new video about the cheap and easy construction of trucks under planes. I think, this is the stuff you always looking for... Have a nice Weekend!
I would like to help you if you could help me in letting me know where you purchase your figures from and what scale are they. Blessings Pastor Randy Bourque
Hi - I am wondering where you purchased the figurines or what company makes them. Edit/Update: Found the source of figurines further down in the comments. Great Video by the way!!!

Airbrushing the flesh tones first and using a final powder application to remove the shine were great basic tips. Thank you for your video.

Excellent video. Where do you buy your 'people' from. They have great definition for OO scale.
Well done! I model in N scale so painting is a bit trickier but thank goodness for magnification!
+J Peck Yes! 😄 Everything is sooo tiny. Magnification is a must. A N-scale string bikini.. 😂 That's tiny!
looks very good...
Those jumpscares get me everytime! ;)
+werrtvnsioftuzrngkld 👍👍😄😄😄 I just get soo frustrated by precision work, so I just had to fire up the chainsaw! 😂

brilliant as usual!
Nice video I paint track n figures.
This is SO awesome. I just want to rip off every single Preiserlein from my layout and start replacing them!!!!
+Magnus Hellström Thank you Magnus! 😊 Why not have a paint-session with the family? 👍
For the shadow you can use a thinned down nuln oil from Games Workshop....
That chain saw bit lol
Great tuturiol from you as usual! Where is it possible to buy the acrylic powder in Sweden?
Hi Lars! Noch has a set of colors available. Check MJ-Hobby, or Modellhobby.
@@marklinofsweden Thanks Martin! I will check with them.
Great video as always, could I request a video tour of your layout please?
+Toby May Hi Toby! That's a great idea! I'll add it to the project plan! 👍

Martin, subscription notifications from You Tube. Please consider doing a video about your train room lighting. Thanks Martin for your videos. John
Great Idea! I have it on my project list!
Hello @marklinofsweden .. can you say me where i can buy this figure or figure with animals?
Hi Oupis, There are a range of manufacturers of the figures. Check out "Noch gmbh" and "Preiser". They both have a wide assortment.
Thank you for the tutorial! The idea with the first layer in airbrush to stop the floating of the colours is great!

Hahaha the Motorsaw Scene 😂

Nice.

Looks great! I noticed that behind you in your layout there is a coaling station. Do you happen to know the serial number of that kit?
Or you could just use oil paints with a small brush. Takes a while to dry but the finish turns out matt.
Hi - I am wondering where you purchased the figurines or what company makes them. Edit/Update: Found the source of figurines further down in the comments. Great Video by the way!!!
What is the scale?
H0, 1:87
laughing my ass off with the chainsaw hahaha
hrmm Hey marklinofsweden is it wrong I prefer Lego minifigures over these figures?
No Diesel.. LEGO ROCKS! (y)
marklinofsweden nice, I prefer to use lego people because of the ability to be posed and their tooo charming!
+Diesel Electric Razor LEGO is great FUN! Keep it up! 👍👍👍
marklinofsweden YEE!
I feel difficult to paint human miniatures
