Very nice looking layout and nailed the ALCO sound perfectly.

Beautifully done layout, the scenery and weathering are done very well, and with your prototypical operating speeds, this BN / NP shunting operation was mesmerizing.

Looked at this again and really like the sound on the Northern Pacific 1997 - sounds real...Really love the detail you have on this road...

Really great looking layout. really hate the sound from the switcher (SW 1) locomotive. I have never heard anything so bad. from a switcher. Great sped and most everything else though. Like the caboose next to the engine. Makes a great office for the conductor. I run a lot of my trains this way. Although I use the caboose as a battery car since my layout is completely battery powered (dead rail)...

SW1? That was an RS11 in the first half, and a GP7 or 9 the last half. I’m not a huge fan of sound, sometimes borders on irritating to me, but the background noise mixed with it caused drastic measures. MUTE!! Absolutely beautiful modeling though! Hats off to the builder!

@@tomt9543 Don't like 99% of the sound coming from current engines. If it can't sound real, I'd rather have no sound. I have been in clubs where the sound is so loud that you can not even talk.

@@davidcurtis5398 I worked for the railroad for 41 years, and I guess I’m just sick of the sounds! Ha! But I just find the sound function on model trains annoying!
