I've been in and out of this sport since the early 1970's, including a performance at DCI Finals and a DCA World Championship, and "The Dark Side Of The Rainbow" is my favorite show of all time.

Easy, there were so many corps that performed WAY better, with better designed shows. The Colts were very weak in drill design, the horn line lost almost 2 quality minutes from the narration, and the performance level wasn't top notch. And how can you vocalize on that Pink Floyd song, and not do the amazing wailing part that comes a few bars after she left off? This seems like a Cadets(Holy Name Garfield Cadets Of Bergen County Cadets, not Colt Cadets) but weakened down because of lack of talent level from what the Cadets have. This was a nice show, but could have been done a heckuva lot better. This show had too many flaws to place any higher.

I absolutely love the Colts, and Colt Cadets. Always have always will. However I have to be honest with all my feedback, great, or bad. Otherwise when I do compliment their amazing shows, it wouldn't mean anything. Please rewatch this show. Listen to the hornline. It wasn't as good as many of their other years. Especially great ones like 1999, 2007. and the last couple of years. The writing of this show was weak. It had many flaws. It wasn't as good as the corps that placed above it that year. And there have been years I felt Colts were under where they should have been, like 1999 they should have been 9th when they placed 12th, 1997 they should have made finals at 12th instead of 13th. in 98 I thought they should have been 13th when they made finals, as Magic was slightly better. These are my honest opinions and I stand by them. And for the record, I have had many friends that have marched Colts over the years, and they do respect my opinions, good or bad. They may not like them, but they are my true feelings.

One thing how did a Scarecrow kill a man of tin and a lion one if he did try to kill the tin man most likely his arm would break and the lion would have clawed him so how if a member of the colts could tell me this I would like to know Edit: if he didn’t try to fight them if anyone were to fight the lion literally they run to him cause at the end the lion is the bravest soul in oz and wouldn’t be afraid of some measly minions Edit 2: nothing related to any of this Did Bluecoats ripoff the great gig in the sky but made it different so no one would notice
Late season injuries. I aged out with the Colts this particular summer, and the injury bug hit us hard at the end of the season. We lost a cymbal and contra to foot injuries around Allentown and our bass 3 two days before prelims to a pretty horrific hip and leg injury. Bless her heart too since she was a rookout. Our bass line had to learn a whole rewrite the day before prelims.

Colts have always been robbed, but this year was the worst. This was clearly a top 12 show. I’m thankful they’re getting their recognition now.
