Very sweet
First time I've seen your video and you seem like a" regular joe" an honest man and I admire that .
I don't hardly EVER subscribe but in this case I did.. keep up the good work I'm sure I'm not the only person that appreciates it.
Thank you.
Thanks for that. I'm just another guy trying to help out where I can.
Very good explaining!
Add more channels
Good job
You asked for opinions and mine’s a year old but here it is: I’m a novice DIY guy with a 1980 squarebody. I’ve been learning on RUclips until my eyes are ready to fall out. You’re a good teacher and I want to learn more from you. If you work on improving your lighting and camera angles (and more close-ups) then no matter what you teach on however many channels, you will succeed because you’re a natural teacher and people will gravitate to you.
Glad to see you back!! I really enjoy your content. I think a 2nd channel would be great. I'd subscribe and watch it, lol.
You're making me regret selling my squarebody earlier this year. he was a dandy. But got in a bind, something had to go. But I made a good profit on it because I got it not running and cheap, done all the work myself so no labor cost. Used a lot of good used parts thanks to an old donor truck. Maybe someday I can get another one. I'd like to have a 250 six cyl with the 3 on the tree again. That's what I drove my senior year. 78 short stepside. White with burgundy interior, bed cover and white spoke wheels. She was sharp.
Anyway, glad to see you back and I'd watch your videos no matter what the subject matter it. You and your family have a very Merry Christmas!!!
You can make a second channel. But seems like you could do it here and grab views as well. I would think it would work here as good since you have an audience here already. Starting a second one your going to have to compete for views and subscribers. Those here who don't care don't watch those who do want will watch those as well. I like watching how to do stuff videos, videos of work on things and work of you doing stuff on the land. I watch the Bus Grease Monkey, that's a whole nother topic, why, I have no idea I don't have or want a buss. But I like whatching homework and he is through and describes things well and I like big heavy equipment as well. But he also shows himself working on his property, shop build, house buld solar installation, whatever he is doing he will film .
I understand, but so far my non squarebody videos haven't gone over very well here. I'm still thinking it over. Just wanted to get yalls valued opinion
@@SquarebodyStuff I say yea try it. You can always put them here if a second channel is a total flop I guess.
Yeah. Nothing to really loose.
Not worried about it flopping, it may take off better than this one. I wouldn't feel as restricted on what I post on that channel. This one I really want to stay on point with just squarebody related content.
@@SquarebodyStuff yea you do have a point. It may. You do really good videos and explain things well so i know you will make some quality content.
Just use this channel for all your content. If you're too busy for one, you're too busy for two. I don't think anybody has a good idea of what the "Mighty Al Gore Rhythm" is looking for so I say one stop shopping. Buuuuuut, then again I only have like 30 subscribers so I may not know what I'm talking about! Also, I have that same underhood light and I noticed it flickers on my camera too. Yours isn't anywhere as close to mine on the flicker level!

Will changing the water pump on a 77 c10 with a 350 small block be the same as replacing your 79 c10 small block???
Yes
Man I been looking around for the cold air filter assembly for a while and there mostly thrown away or missing at the junkyards. I’m running a fully open k&n 14x4 and I can definitely feel a big loss of power in the summer from right now in January.
Ok I have a short water pump which has 4 bolts 1 is longer then the rest is that the bolt that you put the sealant on? The bottom right ?
Yes, double check all of the holes by sticking your finger in the water hole and feel to see if the holes for the bolts go all the way through.
Do it. Make it a broader channel like ranchin and things
Thanks. That's the idea. Working cattle, home improvement, everyday life stuff, I also have gotten into leather work that would be nice to show. Thanks for watching and the support.
Watching this video made me realize that my life sucks
Best video on the water pump and presentations👍🏼
Thank you
Go for it. Add a second channel,
Nothing to lose
Thanks. At least I know a couple of ya made it through the whole video, lol.
@@SquarebodyStuff you’re just a good ole boy like myself that loves these old rickety trucks. Hell most of the time I’m watching like…yep, I know what he’s gonna do next…yes sir
Go ahead and make a second channel. Different style content is always interesting
Thanks. Not sure about different style, I kinda only have one. Lol. But it'll be all sorts of different content that I don't want to clutter up this channel with.
@@SquarebodyStuff that’s what I was meanin. Truck stuff, cattle stuff, home repairs etc.
I just installed a edlebrock performer intake and avs2 carb in my 77 c20 350 . Now it’s overheating so I pulled the intake back off put new gaskets on and followed edlebrock directions. I don’t have coolant in the oil . I cannot see any flow of coolant in my brand new aluminum radiator but the thermostat is opening bc the driver side of radiator gets hot along with the upper radiator hose but the passenger side radiator does not even get warm . So I’m assuming it’s my water pump . It’s not making any noise nor leaking but it’s gotta be the pump right ??? What do y’all think ??
Sounds like the radiator is plugged.
@@SquarebodyStuff I thought that maybe buts brand new aluminum summit brand . How would I check to see if it’s plugged up ? And I appreciate your help
@@SquarebodyStuff well water pump did not help ! Guess I’m gonna call summit and tell them to ship me a new radiator. If this don’t work then I’m lost . I have spent over $10,000 on this truck including the $3200 to buy it . I just wanna drive the damn thing .
@@SquarebodyStuff so I don’t think it’s my radiator because when I take the thermostat out I can see a good cross flow in the radiator along with coolant drop . What do you think ??
Run it without a thermostat for a bit just to make sure.
Thanks so much! I've got a 350 crate engine in my 78 corvette that needs a new water pump, and your video was the only water pump replacement video that I didn't laugh at.
Thanks. Glad it helped out.
If you have a stock 350 does this still help with putting a water pump on cause I'm trying to put a water pump and fuel pump on my square body chevy
Yes.
I have a 75 C10i have a radiator that lea and my water pump has a small leak ... Anyway I have oil and water mixing in the oil... (did a oil change and gray sludge).... It still runs (not real good but).. ..it doesn't smoke could it be a head gasket or the head ?
Head gasket or possibly intake manifold gasket
@@SquarebodyStuffAfter I commented I also found out that when a weep hole in a water pump goes bad it can get into your cooling system .. well we'll see lol.
Thank you again
How can I test my water pump?
Pull the upper radiator hose and thermostat. Start the engine and if water is moving, it's pumping. As lang as it's not leaking than all is good
Great video!
Did you ever make a second channel?
I did, but it only has a couple of videos. I quickly realized I don't have time for two of them.
how about a beard video
Are you thinking a beard care video?
