Nylon strings can be used to hang parts for painting.
That's not a bad idea, I'm actually going to use my old strings for just that lol never thought about it before

I actually love the fender headstock on acoustic, i think it has a certain vibe to it, plus prefer acoustic guitar and i am in absolutely in love with the look of fenders so it gives me at least some happiness to see them being used on an instrument i like :D

Looks like you guys had an amazing time. A lovely change of pace, was nice to see. Myself my missus and kids frequently travel to Hungary from England by car, this kind of reminded me of this.

I use those fret board wipes and i really like them i first tried them on a 1920 acoustic i repaired it was extremely dry from hanging in an abandoned home
Cool! I was at Flash in Vienna a few years ago. Budapest is great for guitar shopping. You missed a couple of cool ones in Zagreb.
Try the Galata tower area in Istanbul. Like one guitar shop next to other. Plenty of second hand gear!
Yeah unfortunately we were just passing through Zagreb so had to rely on a quick Google search, would love to explore it more

Unfortunately, the selection of one-humbucker guitars in offline Budapest music stores is not great. However, I saw a no-humbucker strat here, near Westend.
We need more single humbuckers everywhere haha. What was the no humbucker? A yngwie nylon?
Man, what a trip! I’ve been to almost all of these cities since I live nearby in Vienna but haven’t seen any of these shops. Sad you missed Klangfarbe though. Flash is definitely a lesser known spot and very cool!!
Aw yeah would loved to have gotten around more of Vienna but it was mostly just a stopover to avoid the huge drive from Croatia back to Czech. Unfortunately by the time we arrived it was already pretty late and I think we were in Flash right before they closed. I got that Dimarzio for silly money though which was cool!
Came here for the builds but this was fun too, thanks for sharing

Cool seeing you visiting Croatia as a Croatian myself. It is a beautiful country and our coasts are amazing. There are a few better guitar shops that you could have visited in Zagreb but it was cool nevertheless. I hope you had an amazing time.
Yeah I wish I had taken more time to research them to be honest but we were pushed for time anyway and with that one being right opposite Kaufland it was an easy choice haha. Thanks bud 🙏
I have a Hagstrom acoustic.... really nice guitar. They are a nice brand.

You'd recommend then? I honestly loved it more than anything else I played in that shop
@@Giant_Guitars Definitely. Have been playing guitar for a good 20 years now and I've never come across such a great guitar for that price. Fast fretboard. Finishing is mint. Sustain is great. Stays in tune forever. And although I'm a bridge humbucker guy like yourself, the coil split neck pickup sounds just epic.
Also, this is the only guitar I own that I haven't changed anything on yet, which might be saying something.

Great video as it lets me know insights of markets around the world.
It is a shame that mostly all they sold in shops are Fender/Squire, Ibanez, a few Corts and Boss amps while the region is known for its acoustic tonewoods and there are quite a few good custom makers.
Anyway, while you are giving away the guitar, I think it is good to stencil something over the headstock, Giant guitars or something.
Yeah it's interesting to see, most of the big guitar shops are the same story repeated that's why the little second hand ones were my favourites. I'd love to plan a tour out properly next time and visit the boutique makers!
Oh and yeah I have done a giant logo on the back of a Fender a lady from Hungary won a couple of years back, turned out nice

I’ve helped friends move pianos on 2 different occasions and after the last one I swore I wouldn’t be helping move anymore of them. When I picked up on it I felt the pads in my spine compress lol.
