      thanks for the review! it’s definitely different to shoot with manual focus and its worth a try, especially if you are on a budget. I have the kamlan 50mm and I dont regret getting it :)

      @@tvivanov I'm glad you liked it! That Kamlan must be sweet for portraits... I'm destined to buy 35mm lenses as all my cameras are APS-C and 50mm would be too long for what I shoot :)

      @@PetrGardianTV i have the 23 and the 50, but never tried a 35… wondering if i have it will the other two be obsolete…

    how difficult is it to focus with this lens? I do mainly cosplay photography.
    Also how much time does it take to focus As some of these people at the convention may be in a hurry.

      For moving people you will use mostly zone focusing, but in your case I'd look also at lens with autofocus - if you have a camera with good subject tracking.
