Are you sure about the brake pads you linked in a comment below? The ones you listed are rear brakes for an ATV. I have the same setup done by a previous owner. I used the Rogue rotors but need to replace the pads. Thanks!
Tried test fitting my 08 tl type s rotors with these calipers. Didn’t clear at all…. They were basically clamped to where the caliper mounts. Returning those rotors and trying these so I don’t have to use spacers.
I don't know if you're in the Facebook groups, but I recently posted that Type R Rear Pads will fit the accord. Ordered a set of EBC Red Stuffs for a Type R and they had no issues going on, so that opens the door for more compound options (i.e. Blue Stuff from EBC, Hawks)
How centered was the rotor in the caliper? Hearing some mixed reviews on what rotor to run and just want to make sure the rogue rotors are going to work
Would you happen to have the link of the rotors and pads you’ve purchased im soon to acquire a pair of brembos and wanting to piece everything together
Off Facebook marketplace, eBay or local is probably best way to grab brembos for cheap. There are services like slickfab that’ll send you a fresh pair of brembos for like 1k, but for that price, I’d recommend 27wons kit. Much thinner 4 pistons that’ll clear wheels easier
Will depend highly on wheel design. A good starting point is a 9.5 wide with a +35 offset but that does not always guarantee proper fitment since spokes can be more concave
They’re okay when the temperatures are mild (50-70ish), they’ll spin in the cold (though many tires will too) and in the warm they’ll suffice. If you’re after performance, a dedicated summer tire is better
That’s nice but…spacers can cost damage to your wheels, put weight, pressure. Don’t be surprised in the future…your tires will wiggle…on less you trying to build a race car?
Need a followup video on this! Planning to do it on my 2.0T sport.

Why don't i have neighbors like this😅
Good work !! That thumbnail is 🔥 love the new set up
Can you make a follow up video on the brakes.
Thats sick!!
This would alleviate the track pad selection for the 2.0L accords for the front, but still has anyone found track pads for the rear of the accord ??

Finally a much easier way to get Brembo's on my 2018 Honda Accord.👍
Did you need a centric hub ring for the rotors to fit snuggly?
No need, Nissan rogue rotors fit right on :)
@@Qius_Cars so the Nissan Rogue Rotors are centered on the Brembo? I've read that you can also use the 350z rotors.
@@edwardtan4631 Nissan Rogue ones are centered. I have also heard 350z ones work but you may need a shim or spacer
You need concave wheels to clear brembos with no spacers
Yessir, thankfully spacers and a small fender roll made it work. Too lazy to find new wheels lmao
Convex will with a lower offset than stock!Concave u still need 5-10mm since convave spokes bend closer to caliper body!

Rogue rotors were perfectly centered, no trimming or shaving.
@@Qius_Cars fantastic! Thank you for the reply

@@Qius_Cars thank you so much for the help
@@Qius_Cars i was curious for the rotors did you use a hub ring or did the rotors fit perfect around the hub
@@AlejandroRodriguez-og1kg No hub ring needed, fit just fine on the hub
Did you have to use the banjo bolt from the genesis callipers or where you able to use the accord oem ones for the brake line
I’m barely seeing this a year later but how is this conversion holding up?
Everything’s been working great with it!
i imagine this set up wont clear stock wheels correct?
It will with a 25mm spacer
Which make and model caliper and rotor? Please
Caliper from any Genesis couple with the brembo package, rotors are off a 3 row Nissan rogue (330mm)
Landing gear stuck?
Got a link on where you bought the brakes?

i’m selling some for 530
Does it fit with the stock rims ?
Stock rims require 25mm spacers
what size offset for wheels would fit for the brembos?
Will depend highly on wheel design. A good starting point is a 9.5 wide with a +35 offset but that does not always guarantee proper fitment since spokes can be more concave
Where did you get those brakes
From facebook marketplace, they're a rebuilt set someone locally was selling
How you like them does it really makes a difference? Im looking to do this conversion too.
thanks
How are those continentals with traction?
They’re okay when the temperatures are mild (50-70ish), they’ll spin in the cold (though many tires will too) and in the warm they’ll suffice. If you’re after performance, a dedicated summer tire is better
What offset was your wheel?
The Tesla wheels were I think +40 offset. Don’t remember, ended up selling them for wheels that fit
What is the offset of your wheels?
+40, with an 19mm spacer and the rotors being another 2-3mm, I'm at +19 or so now
That’s nice but…spacers can cost damage to your wheels, put weight, pressure. Don’t be surprised in the future…your tires will wiggle…on less you trying to build a race car?
Why? It's a low powered family sedan not a racecar.
His is making close to 400hp
He making some power so he gotta get some better brakes. Dont worry why. Its his build let him do what he wants.
Just so you the gen coupe came factory with like 300 hp those brakes
Keep sleeping on em 🤞
