NFL Draft 2022: Chris Simms' top 5 running backs | Chris Simms Unbuttoned | NBC Sports
/ nbcsports
He’s getting this right, the CBS sports analysis was completely off
Chris Simms always on point he’s converting himself into one of the top draft analysts out there. The person who other analysts turn to for draft info
At this rate he might get snatched up by an org to be an advanced scout or something because to know this much means you are sitting there and grooming through a lot of tape
He said Zach Wilson over Trevor Lawrence... TBD
He's got the top 3 exactly right
I love these draft rankings
"You know me I love thighs and butt. He has thighs and butt for days." 😂
👀sus
Phil Simms would talk about this. Wider bodied guys. Bigger frames. Dudes got Cake
Here after the 49ers drafted Ty Davis Price. Can’t believe they drafted another rb. 3 in 2 years. Hate the pick but hoping that he’ll ball out.
A lot of good value at RB in this draft. Guys like Ty Chandler, McCormick, & Knight all can be had 6/7th round
so can your mom
Rbs are becoming undervalued you can get a legit starter in those rounds now
Getting more common these days
Walker is only more valuable than Hall if you don't count Hall's receiving ability. Walker only had 19 catches for 135 yards in 3 combined seasons, Hall's had at least 23 catches and 180 yards in 3 straight seasons
he is the best for qb evaluation. but the more i watched his rb and wr rankings, he is missing some nuances. for wrs he is high on fast freakish athletes good YAC. jerry rice didnt have elite traits. but he was an elite route runner, and just having a feel for the soft zones. for rbs he likes "when there is nothing to be have" eheh, yards after contact. marshall faulk was not the best for this, but he was elite about everything else.
When I first seen Marshall Faulk without his shirt I couldn't believe how much of a dad bod he had. Watching him without analytics and stuff he just flys and was so amazing. So idk I agree with having the body.
That is a good handle, can't lie
Tyler Allgeier will be a very good NFL RB
Too slow
@@HankyDank my brother played with him at BYU. His field speed is much better then guys on the team running low 4.4’s
Agree hes #6
Dolphins 102 rb Rachaad White 125 lb Brian Asamoah ll 224 oc Deaton 247 ot Buford
@@treharris8618 yeah I think MPH is a better metric for game speed
I've been on the Keneth Walker train. Looks like Alvin Kamara to me
More like LT
Kenneth Walker is my top guy in the draft. Those gams are crazy, he breaks tackles all the time and he's more than fast enough.
17:57 .......... ... So we just ain't gonna discuss .. nevermind it's 2022.
I think Zamir White will be a stud.
Don’t be surprised if the Patriots draft Max Borghi out of WSU day 3, should be higher on boards. Austin Ekeler , McCaffrey type
Can't believe Simms said, "You know me. I love me some thighs & butts. And he (Pierce) got some butt & thighs for days."
I come here when I want total and honest player breakdowns
Cook looks like an ideal 49ers back.
I'm not a James Cook fan, I don't think he has the special running style that Dalvin has. He's more a one cut runner, goes down easily, sometimes even without contact. Easily knocked off balance, bad at pass protection. He's no Dalvin that's for sure. Very high on Dameon Pierce and Kenneth Murray though, as you are.
I agree, if he had the same play style and was 215+ and a little stronger then i’d rank him top 5. But that run style on that frame just won’t work in the league.
Kenneth Walker*
Walker and Pierce remind of Josh Jacobs. They're undersized and tough runners. They'll end up like him, injured often and not as productive as you'd hope.
Dolphins 102 dt Butter 125 rb Ford 224 Bubba Bolden 247 oc Wattenberg
Great comparison with Pierce! Kareem Hunt sure is violent.
Is Pierce the same level of kicker though?
Dolphins 102 rb Allgeier 125 ot Braxton Jones 224 lb Zacoby McClain 247 oc Wattenberg
Do 6 - 10 next of Running backs.
Hoping my Ravens get Zamir White. Has all the tools, should be a better pro than college guy.
Chris always upsets with his #3 ranking so
ie Javion Hawkins, Alec Pierce, Dyami Brown
I think Breece hall will translate better to nfl then Walker but walker will be really good to just not as good as hall
Sleep on Pacheco if you want to. 😴😴😴😴
Whoa. What happened to Alabama’s stud of a RB with SIXTEEN touchdowns this past year and in his entire career ZERO fumbles???? Lmao can’t take this list serious.
you look silly
Is it me or has Chris Simms been drinking.?. Little slurry speaking
Florida rb should go to bears as their second pick in sec9nd round. Trade montgomery for third and 5th round picks
Ty Davis Price= Shanny's Clinton Portis 2.0
No love for Pierre Strong?
Breece hall is the next Adrian peterson
His RAS is more Edgerrin James
Also a hall famer 😂😂
He runs like leveon bell to me
he reminds me of prime emmitt
No one in this draft is going to be the next Emmit or AP. Plus, today’s backs don’t get the workload that those greats got.
169.dt 224 lb
I swear he just be picking names out of a hat for these ranking lmao
It can seem like it but he’s right more often than not
@@Pants.69 ehh he’s as right as much as any other guy who does these rankings I don’t take his word as gospel like most of his fans lol
What about Shveza Ghushvonitz?
simms always has 1 player in his top 5 that doesnt show up on anyone elses lists.......ty davis-price
K9 is the truth. #1 rb no doubt
224s
Really no highlights 🤦🏾
We have the same top 2 - Walker is the most elusive back in recent memory.
My 3rd is ISAIH PACHECO
.. Remember that name
Bet
Dolphins 102
Let's go Buffalo. This was the RB I wanted the Bills to land the entire time. Game breaker and TD maker. Welcome to Buffalo James Cook. Get ready for that SB trophy 🏆
Hassan Haskins will have a better career than most these guys!
Lmao
Dolphins 102oc Lindstrom 125 Kyren Williams rb 168 ot Cunningham 169 ottito ohbonnito 224 Jack Sanborn
No Isaiah spiller. Smh this list a joke besides #1 #2
Ran a 4.6 and 1 good year only
Spiller stinks
Because you can evidence and he doesn’t?
No Isaiah spiller smh this list is a joke
Spiller was initially regarded top 5 but the pro day hurt all the A&M guys. In his and their defense, they played faster than their timed speed but it hurts that group.
chris...I like you and most of your thought process, but don't be an idiot! Looking at someone without a shirt doesn't help you understand how they'll perform in the NFL. If he has a un-chiseled physique but still dominates his competition, why would you judge him any differently???
