My Samsung Galaxy 23+ is connected to my Mercedes for nav. The audio works fine, alerting to upcoming turns. But the screen just stays the same: a map with a couple of prior destinations shown. No dynamic guidance. Any ideas what could be wrong and how to fix it? Thanks for any help you can provide!

Hey Christopher, I have a 2021 Nissan Rogue. My android phone has been paired with it and the hands free works really well. My only issue is when I use google maps. There is no voice assist. I keep having to look at the phone for directions. This only happens in my Nissan. The google maps voice assist works like a charm in every other vehicle that I happen to be in. Can you offer me any advice? What have I done wrong? Thanks...Joe
you might have shut off the voice commands in your navigation settings?

I have a Subaru Outback 2023. Connecting to Android Auto is not the problem. What I'm experiencing with Waze is not hearing the voice commands. I've turned the sound on and off again, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, II've tried changing voices, I've turned the "play to phone speaker" option on and off and nothing seems to work. What is happening however is that the radio sound will mute slightly when a direction command is imminent, but no voice. I might add that when it did work, it would always mute the radio slightly so that the voice commands could be heard over any music. Now it's still doing that, only without the voice from Waze.

i would try deleting the app and redownloading

hi, waze works perfect on my phone with or without wifi, but when i connect it to my cars Android 12 Sat Nav GPS Car Stereo, waze wont work unless wifi is on, i have a gps antenna fitted but doesnt do anything.
yes Waze uses your data you need to be connected to the internet
Should all cars with a screen be able to see Google maps on the car screen. Is it limited to age of car. Thnx
depends on the car but typically android auto came out 2017
I have a samsung phone running waze and it starts up on my Ford screen with Android Auto, then I click on where I want to go, the app states the route, it highlights the route in purple like it should, then the drive stops on my dash display. Waze continues to work on my screen but the new route won't stay running, even if I start a route that is already in my waze.
And another thing, the screen is different than before. On my phone, it is normal if not using android auto, but if I am and operating waze on the dash, the icons on the screen are different than before, and the are black icons.

I can run and use waze but it freezes my spotify account. I have to delete spotify, reinstall it, and log in.
