That second guitar that Pete plays and he states he thinks has some sort of Mahogany top, back and sides is actually made with Trembesi wood according to the product desecription on Anderon’s website. I guessed wrong too as my intial “gut” impression on seeing it was that it was Koa wood-it certainly resembes Koa. Given that the price listed for this beautiful guitar is 999 pounds it must be Trembesi must be a bit cheaper than Koa as a guitar with soild Koa top, back and sides I would expect to command a price in the $2500-3500 range (at least for a Taylor or Martin made of solid Koa)

The lovely old lady who runs the open mic nights at the local cider house has a lower voice. She uses a capo to raise the guitar to G. I kept on suggesting she get a baritone. That way, she has a guitar that comes stock in her own vocal range. No more capo needed. Plus, me being all about baritone guitars and 5-string basses, I would already be able to play along with her.

Pete you are too cool my friend. I am impressed by the baritone sound it has a depth that if I had to compare it to something it is the Barry White voice of guitars. I must confess I have never played a baritone guitar but as time goes on and I keep seeing videos showcasing them and the sound they create I am sure to check one out beyond the holidays at some point.
Andertons needs to do more "unplugged" segments maybe start a sounds like acoustic set and feature different guitars, amps, and effects for acoustic players. I get that isn't really Rabea's forte but I think it would be cool to have the Acoustic Corner with you and maybe keep Ben in the mix, feature the Captain from time to time, and invite top Acoustic players for interviews and rig rundowns. Just a thought for you to run by the crew and consider. I for one think that it would be a huge success. Happy Holidays
