What would jugglers do without your tutorials? I can't image how many patterns have been learned and how much motivation has been provided. I have found so much pleasure from juggling. Thanks so much.
This is mental! I watched a video 15 years ago of a young lass doing this trick and it blew my mind, been learning it on and off since then. Just thought today, you know what, imma look up a tutorial on this trick, i bet theres more vids on it now. Watched this vid, loved it and then had a look at your channel. IT WAS YOUUUUU!!! 🤯 15 years ago you posted a vid and it was that vid that got me hooked on this trick. Thank you 😊
Taylor this tutorial is wonderful! I’ve been trying to do this trick for literally years with little success and last night it just clicked. My brother and I watch every video of yours and we just love them, thank you so much, from me in England
Amazing! I stopped jugging about 12 year ago... just getting back into it. I remember having like a 360p video of Rubenstein's on my computer and not for the life of me being able to figure it out. This is broken down incredibly well and despite being 12 years lapsed, I learnt it with the florish in a couple of hours. Thanks! Onto your four-ball mill's next, I didn't even know that was a thing.
Very well done tutorial. My brain has trouble keeping all these patterns organized but I love all the many patterns and variations there are in juggling. Thanks for bringing all this into our lives.
Thank you for all your tutorials Taylor! I had already some tricks but learned the mill, takeouts, burke's barrage and I'm slowly working on my 5 balls with the help of your videos! One things maybe: There are some inconvenient cuts, where the colored balls change position. For example at 4:11 just before you start showing the trick, there is a cut and the colors change position, confusing me as I was concentrated on one ball to understand its trajectory. Anyway, thanks for all your amazing tutorials!
I'm just getting down Mills Mess after 6 months of practice.... I used the steps on your Mills Mess tutorial....thanks cause there's no way I could have visualized the pattern and gotten it down otherwise.
Hi taylor😁 i just wanted to say that you are amazing. I love all your videos. I know how to juggle just from your videos. I started before 3 weeks and i know halfshower, tennis, one up two up, reverse cascade and i am learning windmill. But i will watch these tutorials too because i always feel good and positive after your videos. Keep on making them❤️
Thank you so much for your tutorials, by far the best on RUclips. Having different coloured balls helps my brain no end! Spent three hours on this trick last night so hopefully will nail it today! Thanks again.
Thx Taylor - i juggled the windmill since years - so it took me less than 20 minutes to juggle ruvensteins-revange with the help of your great tutorial!
I'd like to make this my next juggling pattern.. I'm sure that like the others I've learned, this tutorial will guide me. Keep up the great work you do.
Thank you, your explanations are very clear as usual! :) I have been working hard on this in the past half hour and I am getting some results. For some reason I feel more comfortable starting with the u-ball throw because then everything turns in the same direction until the next u-ball throw on the other side.
Taylor: Says 10 times that it feels like Windmill. Me: What is Windmill? (Now I can do Rubensteins Revenge but not Windmill, really xD) I also learned Mills Mess when I wasn't knowing what Windmill is
Very good tutorial! It should also be mentioned that the crossing should be exaggerated, so the balls are carried over a pretty long circle which looks better (e.g. you actively pull the blue ball outwards at 4:25 before doing the circling motion).
I litterally just learned windmill today!! (dont worry im not trying to learn this..just admiring)Love how detailed your tutorials are, keep up the great work ...also wondering when your gonna do a burkes burrage tutorial
Thank you again for yet another great tutorial! I’m trying phase 1 and it’s really feeling like Mill’s Mess without the following “U-ball”… Is that right or am I missing a cross? (Just want to make sure I’m on the right track). Merci mille fois!
It’s hard to say without seeing what you’re doing, but the biggest difference is that Mills Mess doesn’t have any big dragging motions in it. In rubensteins you are doing that big uncross/recross motion. That doesn’t happen at all in Mills Mess, since the only time you are crossing/uncrossing in Mills Mess is when you throw ☺️
Thank you so much! I learned how to juggle a year ago, but I stopped after a few months. Now I got back into juggling, because you inspired me and I have a ton of free time and even my education year has ended. And also what kind of balls are these? PS sorry for my bad English (13 years old from Russia)
Thanks! These are Radfactor Premium Russian balls. They are very pretty, but I personally find them much harder to juggle than traditional beanbag balls.
This is great I'm finally getting to know what the tricks if done for years are called haha. I never bothered with names. People would say what's that your doing. Id reply don't ask me I just do it haha. Lockdown has certainly re sparked my juggling brain. I just ordered a unicycle too. 😁😎
@@TaylorTries ok, that actually tracks -- he had a hard time doing more than a couple of cycles of it at the convention, so it actually makes sense that it was still kind of new at the time.
Hey Taylor I can do all the pre requisite tricks you recommended and I was working on Boston's mess next after learning Mills mess. Would you say this trick is easier than Boston's mess ?
I think they’re probably on the same difficulty level. I personally find Boston mess more confusing to understand, but I think you could learn either one before the other and it wouldn’t really matter!
Query for you. A story I heard was it was named "revenge" because it was revenge for the guy (was it Steve Mills??) inventing Mills's mess!! Love to know if this story is true, or if it heard in other places......
Haha, well I know Rick didn’t name it, and I think someone named it that just because it was alliteration to match his name Rubenstein, and “revenge” was the best word that fit in the theme of trick names like Mills Mess and Burke’s Barrage. I don’t think there’s an actual revenge story involved, it was just a clever name.
I’m pretty sure that was supposed to be a cheeky response to Mill’s Mess. So the idea is that Rubenstein got his revenge of Mills by making a harder trick. But it’s supposed to be silly.
@@TaylorTries I love your content and the quality of it. Isn't it crazy? You don't know me yet you managed to teach me awesome things. Thank you. About the pronunciation: It is the same es Einstein, Frankenstein, Stein. Ei is pronounced as /ai/. I know in the US it is common to pronounce it as /i/. But if you don't believe me, use google translate and type in "Rubenstein" and let it say it out loud in english. It is pronounced /rubenstain/.
Good luck everyone!

I want to learn to juggle, but I don't want to practice... What should I do?
for me the U ball is still out of control but i got the rest down after about 20 minutes. i love how in depth these tutorials are!

Is this the trick that you are shown doing at the beginning of the top 40 jugglers video (but with clubs of course)

Yesss thank you so much!!!
Who did Rubenstein take his revenge on? Steve Mills?
Probably 🤣

Thanks for the tutorial.I was bored😂😂😂
I saw Rick Rubenstein do this at the '89 IJA convention in Baltimore; I think that he came up with it in the mid 80s.
I asked him after I filmed this and he said it was around 88/89 ☺️

Plz do a tutorial how to juggle 2 balls
2 balls in one hand?
The normal Rubbeinstein's Revenge looks like Burke's Barrage except with the "U-ball" in U pattern 😇
😮😮😮
I’m having a lot of trouble trying to bend my left wrist like my right wrist
If it hurts, don’t do it! Stretch your wrists before working on the trick. And worst case, you can do the version without the weird wrist flourish ☺️
@@TaylorTries Excellent. Thanks. Lol I eventually got it 🤣

bruh, my eyes can't even keep up with this swoopy doopy stuff.
Why revenge
