You are totally inspiring me with your attitude and the way you seem to do things. I wish someday I will be able to do a trip like this with my friends too! Thank you so much!!! You are the best!
motor, at the end of the 2 weeks you spent 11k and pretty much have nothing to show for it. as against motor swap and enjoying that for ideally years and years of daily use
RedShiftJellyfish I mean if you have money and you can go to japan and drift why not. But yes I agree with you that buying a motor that you can use for years is great idea. What I'm saying is if you have extra money go drift in japan because you can never get that experience with a motor swap but cant drift 50-70 laps per day.
the wall taps at night in Japan are the best highlight of the channel so far, need to be in the intro permanently. that and the shot of you, Marco, John and Ashley running through your house and jumping in the pool, and a shot in your boat with Adam and Nicole.
Most genuine guy on youtube right here. Thanks for the video man, was really interested in the cost. Seems like a great experience. Thanks for sharing it with us, keep up the awesome work.
Sup Taylor. It's nick I was with you at ebisu. Trying to see if your trying to go sliding down here in Miami lmk man just message me. Hope you see this.
Happy to hear it was worth it. Money comes and goes. Just do what makes you happy. I've been to Tokyo, and loved it! It's a whole different world over there.
Great stuff man. You keep it real. Always happy to see a new vid from you in my Sub feed and your progression in the sport. Diggin' those Chukka chili Vans too. Why they discontinued Chili's is beyond me.
Having done a drift heaven week on the cheap, going halves in a car with my brother, I can highly recommend you save money and do it properly. Next time I go I will be trying to save at least $10k for a full week of drifting with a decent car and not having to worry about all the little things you worry about when you have a small budget. This was a great video and I agree with absolutely everything you said!
Waiting for the one jealous dude to comment about how he's boasting and bragging about money spent instead of appreciating him putting work into doing this video for us.
yeah we all know it'll happen... but think about it, Taylor is a grown dude and he even basically said he spent "nearly my whole savings" so if someone wants to talk about "thats a lot of money, blah blah blah" they can go suck a fat one. because Taylor determined that it was worth the price and i guarantee that, at least as of now, its the greatest experience of his life.
I need to watch more ads. That is definitely on the pricey side especially surprised at the gas and food prices. I thought everything food or material would be a whole lot cheaper. Can't wait for the next trip out! -Stay Blessed
Hi, I am going on a family trip to Claremont, right outside of Orlando. i was wondering when and where meets happen near Orlando, Kissimmee, Winter Garden, Claremont areas. we will be there the 4th through the 10th.
does BC make coilovers for a Nissan D21 pickup that would be good for drifting and nice on the street I haven't found them but it may be worth the money to have them made. I have learned from you guys that you don't really want cheap parts for a vehicle that you want to last.
cheaper to just buy a car at an auction and have power vehicles pick it up for you if you plan on leaving the car there.... why ship a car there when you can build the same car for what it would cost you to ship the one you have.
+TaylorRay, what do you do about translator/tour guide? are there any ways to get involved in like a "group" type thing where basically you get paired up with some other people who are coming for the same thing and you have one person who knows the ropes who you can ask questions and stuff to? I mean my Japanese is good enough to order food, ask directions and where stuff is and how to get places, but just being 1 guy on a "back-packer" style drift trip I feel would be somewhat down letting.. like I know that you guys more or less had Aaron with you..... but what would the average joe do to arrange the social aspect of the trip (hopefully the question makes sense)
I would like your opinion. So I Have a 1991 Nissan D21 pickup and I want to do a 1j swap. Now my truck has no power steering but I want to add it. Is it worth adding on such a light vehicle. Also what type of alignment set up would you suggest as a good base that I can make slight adjustments on. I live in St.Augustine and I would love to come down and drift with you some time this year. Unfortunately I have a stock KA single cam and she is tired. I put a new trans and clutch in it and got new front tires last week. I'm running 225/70/14 on the front and rear using the Cooper Cobra Gt tires
From what level of experience in drifting would you recommend someone going? Like, can you learn how to drift there or how much you must know it before? Thanks
And r32 for 3500 I'll go to Japan to all this but then try to export it it btw can you export the cars I know your only aloud to drive in there but you wouldn't be driving it to export it
excellent video dude. Interesting you talking about the price of fuel, for me it feels like bargain fuel, in the UK we get shafted in fuel prices! haha
needed this vid!!!

You are totally inspiring me with your attitude and the way you seem to do things. I wish someday I will be able to do a trip like this with my friends too! Thank you so much!!! You are the best!
Hmmm.... spend $11k towards swapping my motor OR spend the same on an unforgettable experience.... 😅
AMBush Drift swap your engine and spend the rest in gas to go to different tracks
AMBush Drift Would love to see you going to japan with adam and taylor!!
you know that drifting in japan is different drifting there in states right? You cant never compare drifting in japan hehe
motor, at the end of the 2 weeks you spent 11k and pretty much have nothing to show for it. as against motor swap and enjoying that for ideally years and years of daily use

Finally someone actually done a video on this. Time for the save grind.
what's up Taylor! nice breakdown on the trip. gives us a better idea of what to expect.
the wall taps at night in Japan are the best highlight of the channel so far, need to be in the intro permanently. that and the shot of you, Marco, John and Ashley running through your house and jumping in the pool, and a shot in your boat with Adam and Nicole.
Cost to drift at Ebisu for two weeks: 11k

I miss Japan already :'( haha Keep up the great videos Taylor and I'll keep watching & supporting ✊
love the vids taylor 👌 keep on drifting and burning
Thank you for making this! Been wondering for ages what the comprehensive costs are and they seem more then reasonable considering what you get.
Dope ! Wake up and there's a Taylor vid :)
Thanks for this vid. Very informative and interesting.. You were once "whos that guy in Adams vids" to now..."great vlogger"
You don't need brake cables but maybe new brake shoes had that issue with my x90 but replaced with project mu ones and fixed the e brake problem
I really appreciated the thoroughness
I love the weather in Florida it's always mudding weather

can u import your own car if u wanted to do they let u for a fee and keep the car there
Douglas Fargo thats probably possible but most likely a giant hassle
cheaper to just buy a car at an auction and have power vehicles pick it up for you if you plan on leaving the car there.... why ship a car there when you can build the same car for what it would cost you to ship the one you have.
sure bro ship your car thousands of miles around the world
Markson Wilson people do that all the time lmao
keep up the good work taylor

+Yuuyia Takahashi you honestly meet plenty of people staying at the lodge and being at the track. You'll make friends quick.
That's pretty much what i figured i just thought i would ask in general. Thanks for the reply/ info
Great job, thanks you for this great video ! :)
This was amazing dude, thank you!
Taylor, DAMN I LOVE YOUR CONTENT!!
i hear it makes a difference when you use the AE86 vs the Chaser
Great breakdown!
Needed this thank you Taylor
Why not put hydraulic instead of messing around with stock park brake cables?
Man, why do you sweat so much, you like live in Florida or something?
patonb he actually does live in Florida
and over your head it goes!
12:00
Ha, so true eh
fuck living in florida man every time I go to check the mail I come back sweating
I've been waiting patiently...and now...yuss
What airline did you use and what airport did you fly out of?
How comfy were those recaro confetti seats? And how well did they hold you in
thanks for that man, you're the real mvp!

Who do I need to talk to, to get into local drifting?
Orlando area.
Would you recommend drifting a C5 vette?
Why don't you get one of Adams steering wheels that he has at the warehouse
Where in the world did you find plane tickets from Florida to Japan and back for $700?
How long do you drive your tires? Do you drive them until they're destroyed?
Did your style and technique when drifting change when you where in Japan compared to before your trip?
Had that stealing wheel on my old Chinese go cart/dune buggy.
From what level of experience in drifting would you recommend someone going? Like, can you learn how to drift there or how much you must know it before? Thanks
the Yen hasnt been 110 for a while. its like 85-91 cents to the US $1 .
what was the website you used to show the price of the cars?
What about flights? Did i miss him mentioning that? That's an expensive holiday though, 10k for 12 days.
Thanks man, very usefull vid!
rather than do a fmic, why not a "cheap" methanol kit?
Total legend Taylor
love it bro !!
I saw you on TV at formula
drift today
