    1st Question: I've said this before & ill say it again, you got me back into playing some years ago and I considerer you amongst the great players like Ian, Schaffer, Hetfield with such a godly right arm. So how can one develop and build up such a tight right arm chuggy'ness attack?? Thanks for everything Jason!

    Okay, maybe you can answer this one for me. I have a randall rd40c (got it bc of your demo ;D) and love it, but have been toying with the idea of getting an rd45 or rd100and the rd212...but i keep wondering about buying the rd112 extension cab. What would be the sound difference between the rd45/212 combo vs my combo/112? Beadroom musician, havent started recording yet, but would like to. Thanks :)

    • @13guitard00d
      @13guitard00d 3 года назад

      Hi, I've been toying with the idea of buying a RD40C because of Jason's video. How would you describe its voicing? From what I've heard and read elsewhere, it sounds more like a tighter Recto, and I've been wondering can it do modded Marshall-type tones. Also, how's the shared EQ for switching between clean and distorted sounds? Sorry for a ton of questions!

    • @6slayer6sam62
      @6slayer6sam62 3 года назад

      @@13guitard00d on the OD channel i have my gain around 11 o'clock, volume at 3 o'clock. The EQ i have bass at 10 o'clock, mid 1 o'clock, treble 2 o'clock, presence 2 o'clock, and master at 9 o'clock. I boost it with a few different OD's, but the 33 is probably my favorite. I've heard it described that way, and ryan at plague scythe studios said they were kind of 5150 voiced. Idk...it's the only tube amp i've ever owned...had it probably 6yr now. I have been toying with the idea of a 6505/mesa 2x12, but i like this so much, i'd just kinda like to stick with what i know. Sorry if this wasn't helpful, i'm not a good player, by any means lol.
