We had two and a half weeks to update features of this home before our move-in date. From this experience, we solidified our belief that we are not handy people, but luckily we had a lot of help from family and local businesses.

Y’all are troopers because this did NOT look easy. 😂😂😂 BUT the house is gorgeous!!! I’m absolutely obsessed with the floors; they honestly look so close to hardwoods! And the wall color makes everything look bigger.

Yesss!! Totally can resonate with you guys! We are remodeling our home it’s 51 years old. It has good bones but wow ! It’s an undertaking when doing it almost all by yourself! But your home is beautiful and well worth it!

Your home renovations turned out great! I love your chosen floor and baseboard, it came out so nice! Did you test for asbestos on the floor/tiles? I’m not sure if the tiles were 9”x9” but I noticed you had a black glue.
Also, husband and I are gonna be removing the baseboards and hopefully it’s not a lot of work lol. Congrats on your home and hope you’re enjoying! 😊
Thank you 🥰 yes we tested the floors and ceilings for asbestos and there wasn’t any so we were fortunate. We ended up hiring someone for baseboards because we got nervous 😅 but he said a simple crowbar and hammer does the trick!
Did you guys tested for lead before renovations?
