ELISION performs Annie Hui-Hsin Hsieh - 3,6. (2019)

This graphic score, originally performed by ELISION flautist Paula Rae, was composed by Annie upon the back of a paper napkin during one of ELISION's open mic nights at the Brunswick Green! Paula was our starring artist. In this iteration of 3,6. our two brilliant and amazing trumpet players, Tristram Williams and Callum G'Froerer take the opportunity to work and improvise with one another. ELISION first performed Annie's music in Taipei in May 2019 with the world premiere of her marvellous chamber work for ten musicians conducted by Carl Rosman, 'Creased Impressions on the Surface of Becoming' at the National Concert Hall.
