Thank you for that great video! I ordered a watch 7 in green and 40mm today. After watching your video, I'm confident in having it done. Greetings from Germany
Great review! I was excited about the Ultra watch but the more I've been looking at the reviews, I will definitely go for the Watch 7 over the Ultra. I like the understated design and the fact the processor and most features are the same as the Ultra, and the fact its half the price! I would like to know your experience with the battery life of the Watch 7 when you have tested it more. I currently use the Watch 5 Pro and I get a solid 2 days between charges with all features running. I wonder how the battery life of the Watch 7 44mm would be under the same circumstances. Keep up the good work mate!
I agree. I had the Galaxy Watch5 Pro, which I found to be uncomfortable to wear, and heavy. It was especially uncomfortable to wear through the night. It also caught on my shirts and coats when I put them on or removed them. I eventually lost the watch, and the "Find My Watch" tool was useless in trying to find the watch, even though I used the watch on LTE, as well as connected to my zFold 4.. Instead of giving me a map showing the last location, the tool simply said that it could not connect with the watch. Today I preordered the 44mm Green Galaxy 7 LTE. It's half the price of the Ultra, and I think I will like it better. We'll see.
I've had the Galaxy 4 Classic from day 1 when it came out and was tempted by the Ultra but the more I looked the more I realized I'm not a mountaineer or deep sea diver and the added weight and, frankly, ugly look of the Ultra is the deciding factor to go to the 7 instead. I commend Samsung in their marketing and for going head-to-head with Apple but it's a hard pass for me as far as the Ultra.
The watch 7 has all the internals of the watch ultra (as you said) so i can't justify the extra money for the ultra. I just pre-ordered the 44mm watch 7. I went the 44mm cos the battery is bigger but its not much more expensive. I also bundled it with the buds 3 pro. All with a student discount, pre-order discount and samsung shop app discount.
Completely agree with this. I did same. The watch 7 is sticking with the tradition of a smart watch looking a like a watch and not trying to be an Apple lookalike. Watch 7 is a beautiful iteration. Same with the buds. Wouldn't ever buy stem earbuds when I can tap my earlobes and increase/decrease volume with buds 2 Pro! Come on Samsung know your customers don't pander to the Apple fanclub.
I was still rocking the Galaxy Watch 3 Classic. After seeing all rave reviews about sensors BIG battery with better standby time.. I decided to reward myself even though it didn't make sense as the Watch 7 offered exactly the same without the ultra cosmetics. So 2 weeks later, was my money well spent on wat h ultra? The one thing I was still excited was to be able to use the ECG function.. lo and behold, it's not enabled in my country. Highly disappointed. I was hoping for more, after spending more than double!! Would I buy it again? No, maybe if I was not in the country where Samsung has limited the Watch ultra health features... you know what, probably not! Just realized that the Watch 3 also had its health features blocked in my country... inb3 years they couldn't sort it out. Sorry samsung, this watch ultra will be the last Damsung watch I ever buy!
What do you think about the 7 Ultimate vs Huawei Ultimate regarding the algorithms and accuracy sensors, heart rate, sport and GPS live tracking ( without taking into consideration the design battery life or mobile compatibility between iPhone or Android systems )?
Great video, just what I was looking for. I am an open water swimmer and swim in the sea and lakes often 5k+. Still on the fence about which one will be best for my use case?
