Very interesting watch Nigbee. I have watched a few forensic videos on locks that have been picked and there is usually deep scoring on the key pins where the pick rubs against them. I expected the same but absolutely not. Goes to show you should have been a surgeon with a touch so light 😷
I like that 40mm padlock! A barrel, spools and serrated key pins. All that and countermilling in the plug. Whats really impressive though is the shape of those pins after such heavy use. Thanks for sharing. 😄
Very interesting, you must have a feather touch there. I think if you looked at a pin from a lock i picked a thousand times it would be horrible. Look like i was trying to cut a chunck off.
@@knowthebird yes I was surprised at it myself, I was hoping for something interesting to have happened in there. I wonder how picking style effects what locks can be opened, me and Paul struggle on completely different locks, stuff he finds easy I can't pick and visa-versa There's another video 😵💫
It's the keyway that's really impressive, it looks unpicked

Impressive! Now I wonder how a lock raked, or bumped, 1000 times would compare.
Oh!!! I'm raking a 140 for 6 months now , trying to break it and see how much damage raking does. Love it!
VERY QUITE INTERESTING! churrs Nidge!
Wow! Never thought it would get that much use! 😀 Glad you've got so much out of it 💜
Very interesting 😀👍🐾🐈⬛🍻

Compered to a lock that's been raked or EPGd I'd say that's pretty minimal
👍
It has done quite well for all the times you've picked it. My keyway wpuld be destroyed 😅

Interesting video! What model lock is that?
Hi it's just called an ERA 40mm padlock. They are easily available in the UK from eBay for a good price. The are actually made by Federal as a 90a
It's an ERA IP-38ALBL-PC
High Security Padlock to be precise 😀 Great little alternatives to A1100s in the UK.
👍
