jeep manuals tell you to shift into low while moving at 3-5 mph. in my experience it is more likely to fail the shift if it is stopped. not only is my liberty like that but my grand cherokee as well.
@@eman7579 I have a liberty too and let me tell you if you shift into low range while moving you'll get an awful big clunk. Wouldn't advise to do it but whatever works for you
Quick question: Haven't used 4 WD for a while, but did this morning for the snow. At first, there was a high noise then noise went away. I'm thinking because it's not been used for a while. While engaged and driving, drove well and no noise. Anyone else hear this when 1st engaging after no use?
Can you drive with the “serv 4wd” light on? I have to go on a long trip tomorrow and have no time to have this looked at .
Guys, what about manual gearbox? Not sure it's similar way to switch between 2WD, 4WD and 4WD Low
NEVER SHIFT INTO 4 LOW WHILE MOVING!!! THIS IS HOW PEOPLE TAKE OUT TRANSFER CASES

Yes same when turning left with 4 Lock or 4 Low the left tire seems to make a tapping noice as it gets harder to accelerate through turning..
Thank you Captain Obvious!
This is,why you shouldn't buy used cars
Yes. Everyone should always buy a brand new car. Makes sense to me.
Everybody’s got bucks to lease or finance.
