How to fix the 4WD system on jeep patriot code C145D - 4WD system Fixed

Today Im going to show you , How to fix the 4WD system on jeep patriot code C145D, the 4WD system on this car is electronically controlled so by tracking the possible causes to this problem, witch are 5 main courses,
-Number 1: it could be a blown fuse
-Number 2: it could be a wiring issue
-Number 3: The 4WD module is bad
-Number 4: The 4WD switch is bad
-Number 5: The ECC (electronically controlled clutch) is bad
using basic tools I find out that I have a wiring issue and I was able to trace it and redress it the best I could
The tools I used:
-Flat head screwdriver
-12 V Test light
-Multimeter
-Heat shrink butt connectors
-Heat shrink tube
-Electrical heat resistant tape

I just bought a 2008 with the same issues . Hopefully, the seller gave up tracing the wire problem and i find a simple break or corroded spot

this is a great video. i dont know what exactly is wrong with my jeep patriot but i suspect rats have eaten my wires for the 4wd. the abs, 4wd, and oil pressure lights are on and it dings a lot. my back indicator was out because rats chewed through the wiring. im not sure if this is even fixable.

i have a 2014 jeep patriot,on the scan tool it says lost communication with AWD Drive Module, but it has no warning light on the dash,can you help me fix thw problem please.

you need to verifie if the 4WD module have power from the fuse to the connector like is showen in the video it can be a blowen fuse check the positive and the negative if you have power at the connector then check the can bus wires for continuity with the ecu from the 4WD module connector to the ecu connector if you have power and continuity in the can bus wires than your 4WD module must be the problem

Riadh, Just had my back brakes and bearings replaced and now my ABS, TRACTION AND 4WD! lights are all on..AND, I drive a 2014 Jeep Patriot. These vehicles ARE SHIT!!

did you try to scan the computer with a scan tool and if you did can you give me the codes for the ABS and the 4WD
