There's a better way to pull the injectors on these. Use a lug nut from the truck "No i'm not kidding" and about inch and a half of pipe that fits around the injector. Thread that lug nut onto the top of the injector, and watch it pull upward. Dodge engineering wasn't 100% bad =)
@@CVcustoms so basically that or pull a fuse for electronic pump? Will a mechanical style always pump fuel or is there always a lift pump you can deactivate?
yeah make more videos on the 12 valve and also the 24 valve non-common rail there's too many about the common rail period at what mileage should the injectors be replaced to avoid the nozzle tip breaking off in the cylinder
it does not just work on compression it has a inline fuel heater in place of Glowplugs but is greater theory they should fire up on raw compression Friction but some times its not the case and cold compression good should be 390-420 psi
can you tell me what tool number that compression adapter is? -looking for a source
Where can I get the adapter and gauge???
Thanks!

Thanks that's good knowledge
Cool video! Any one know what these put out when they are new or newly rebuilt as far as compression?
how do you stop fuel flow when doing compression tests on a diesel? i know there are different fuel system designs.
It would depend on what diesel but the easiest way to to use a jumper on the starter so the only thing on in the starter rotating the engine

It will always pump a little but with no pressure
