Nice video Sam! I just turned 400,000 Christmas Eve on my 07. And it has pulled all kind of trailers throw out the country 250,000 of that 400,000. Engine bay is all stock except a water pump and A/C compressor. Only thing that doesn’t work in cab is the electric rear sliding window haven’t been able to figure that issue out or even find the fuse for the thing. All my issues with truck have been in transmission. Finally after three of them I have this one in it for 235,000 and going strong. And it’s had the chain replaced in t-case.

Instead of just explaining blow by or the test you just talked about your truck for what seemed like a hour that I couldn't skip far enough past. Next time you do a video do one covering what the title says. You can always do a second video covering everything you've done to the truck and what has failed. I'm not trying to be disrespectful because it was a good video on what has failed and gave a few ideas to do. I just think this one should've been the failed items and upgrades and another for the blow by.

UW or WyoTech?
This is a great video..! I’ve got a 2004 Dually and I’ve loved this engine since my purchase in 08. I did have one big problem that you pointed out-that dam heater vent selector. Dodge crap the bed on that design! Would you mind sharing how you changed that to a mechanical switch to change the blower vent position?
Powder River Let Er Buck! Go Cowboys

My 01 24 valve is a beast 363k miles, got a 7.3 just to try it and man id love to get rid of that damn Ford.
Got a 7.3 4r100 with a half a million miles, had a 99 Dodge with a automatic, glad I got rid of that Dodge.

I did mine before him. He copied me lol
What's up boom
Yeah I’m waiting to see anyone and I mean anyone post a Ford power stroke work truck that they just beat and it has 350,000 I’ll even give them 285,000 miles and they have not dumped 10 grand into it to keep it running waiting for one of those videos because I will call bullshit and everybody knows that’s a fact. That’s why Ford and fix it rhyme
99 f250 super Duty 397000 and I have beat the hell out the truck its hole life.
7.3s have no issues doing this. Plus heads over heals in a better truck.
You forgot to mention the notorious Dodge cracked dash issue. Happens on all Dodge dashes.
Doug Moody this truck does not have a cracked dash. It’s an issue on the older models
Doug Moody that’s on 2nd gens
Not mine
Instead of just explaining blow by or the test you just talked about your truck for what seemed like a hour that I couldn't skip far enough past.
Next time you do a video do one covering what the title says.
You can always do a second video covering everything you've done to the truck and what has failed.
I'm not trying to be disrespectful because it was a good video on what has failed and gave a few ideas to do. I just think this one should've been the failed items and upgrades and another for the blow by.
I get that cummins are good and bulletproof but I would still drive a Powerstroke
I wouldn't say that they are bullet proof but with good maintenance they stand a good chance same could be said about a lot of thing.
Not a blow by test. Not even close
Haha mmhhmm
@@VBELTandSON needs to be max temp to do the cap test, but cap test means nothing according to cummins. They say vapor/smoke/cap movement means nothing and that dyno/manometer test combination is the only way to know. They actually get mad when you mention the cap test. Apparently the cap test is a modern youtube phenomenon. Told me if I couldn't afford the tests to do them myself. Butt dyno(having a 2nd healthy truck to compare yours to helps) and manometer at full temp. You can buy the manometer part from cummins for 40$ or make it yourself. I talked to 2 service writers and 3 techs(all cummins). All said the same. I get all obsessive like so I know I'm not just hearing opinion😉
I called because mine has some decent vapor, brought it in(they will only let it in the building if its 100% stock). Turned out my 226k 12 valve is actually unusually healthy and powerful for its age.
Nice truck btw. Dig the fenders.
Stick to the topic
Curtis Heldenbrand nah
Bro you're actually cringe he didn't get off topic
