Buddy you have no idea how lucky you are to not have to work on anything from New York or anywhere with salt for that matter lol love the channel thank you for explaining things!!!
05’ was my favorite year too. I bought my very first Cummins. I was just a kid but I sure as hell went out and bought me a brand new 4x4 crew cab dually with a 5 speed manual. She was that patriot blue color. It was beautiful. Never forget that truck.
Awesome job on this one! Didn't take a terrible much to make another great truck on the road. The longer we can keep them the longer we can stay away from the stupid overpriced new ones!
That looks outstanding! You could make a nice profit on that truck if you sold it here in PA! Vehicles rust out fast here in the rust belt. Really, enjoy your videos! Also, nice background music. You sound pretty good!
Nice man! Truck turned out good. This video literally reminded me of the final video of when you restored the 94 single cab 2nd gen. Brought back memories of that truck.
Oh wow! This gives me hope lol…I just came into possession of a 03 2500 and boy it needs work! 288k miles and for some reason the interior handle on mine are just like this one was 😂 I want to restore mine to its former beauty
Have a 06 with 698,000 and it has stopped reading mileage for the last 7 years so I have no idea how many are actually on it did have to do injector lines and did injector just because nothing else has been touched … besides transmission three times so I would say it has got to have over 800,000 on it by now
Hey who was that song by in the first part of the video I really like the song it went well with the video good choice and love the out come of the truck!
Should of hit it with a raptor liner if you add a reducer it comes out Matt and smooth that’s what I did on mine and it looks friggin sweet I went with a green thinking about changing it to a white
bought my old one with no blow bye and over 509k miles, didnt need much work done to it. I bought it for 5k and then covid hit and someone offered me 14k for it so i had sold it
Normally the Cummins is still in solid shape so I don’t need to mess is the engine internals. Just fix oil leaks and Address normal problems. If the engines are hurt I most likely wouldn’t buy the project truck.
Love the third gens.I like the sound of the Cummins better than my second gen.Just always have some spare change around for a tranny rebuild, its gonna die,its just when?
@@VBELTandSON If the truck is sold i don't see why not, any time and $ you put into a truck to make it new again should justify the end price as time = money, so i don't feel it would matter to disclose after its already gone. The benefit of it is it will inspire others to try this and be successful like you, and part of teaching them that will also be how to say no to low-ballers which will always be there.
Buddy you have no idea how lucky you are to not have to work on anything from New York or anywhere with salt for that matter lol love the channel thank you for explaining things!!!
Thank you and you just wait for the next restoration like this. It’s a New York truck lol
I second that. Whats crazy is their so many non corrosive alternatives for icey roads.
You singing in the background music? Very talented man, love how the old girl turned out well done!
Some trucks are just worth saving.
Really really enjoy the revivals,

Haha glad it looked easy
Great job. I'm glad someone is saving these old dodges. Turned out awesome
Crazy impressive. Truck builds and land management can’t go wrong.

Yeah, you got issues reviving these old girls, but props to you.....soooo, you go girl!!
Awesome job and congrats on the little girl!!
That factory color is my absolute favorite. But you made the green turn out. Little wet sanding and compound, she'll look fantastic.

Nice job have you ever considered opening a body shop
Hell yeah brother! Nicely done
Congrats! Wisconsin wouldn’t have nothing left of that thing
Brought back from near death to serve a new purpose!

Not a bad idea. But I had this paint left over and I wanted to learn how to paint color on a rig. Perfect chance to do so on this unit
Looks great 👍, family affair project.
The swepline would look awesome that colour
Nice job bro!
It's cool to see a different color when u open the doors lol

Emerald green. I can’t remember the code. But it’s for 94 dodge originally
450k doesn't seem like a lot for those 3rd gens. Seen lots of gassers with double that... Glad you gave it a new life!
Thank you
bought my old one with no blow bye and over 509k miles, didnt need much work done to it. I bought it for 5k and then covid hit and someone offered me 14k for it so i had sold it
i love the color it came out so good!😮
Did you pressure wash your carpet? Whenever i do that to my vehicles and put the pressure gun to close, the same thing happens. Similar fibers come up
Do you ever need to do anything with rebuild on the motors or generally just the body and mechanical components?
Normally the Cummins is still in solid shape so I don’t need to mess is the engine internals. Just fix oil leaks and Address normal problems. If the engines are hurt I most likely wouldn’t buy the project truck.
Holy crap? 2 in a row?? My guy!!
Getting the party back going 👍🏻
@@VBELTandSON love it brother. Keep it up. Love your content.
Thank you!
Nicely done!! About how long did it take you to restore her? Specifically the painting part
Thank you! Painting took over a week I’d say. Tear down paint and reassemble
What is your opinion on 2011 3500 dully with the 68r transmission with 212 miles on it the out side it nice but ill pull 15000 lbs
Is that you singing that song in the video. Not too shabby if it is 👍👍
Great work truck looks awesome
0:54 What was that?
Why are your videos only in 720p now?
Idk I even made this you 1080 something changed when uploaded or exported idk. Throwing me off
I love 3rd gens. And I like that dang song, who is the singer?
I have one of theses they are great trucks if you take care of them mines a 04 4x4
What did you use with the paintbrush to scrubb the interior?
Awesome cleaner
What's that song at 9:01? 🤔
Love it bud you do good work
I have to ask Sam, is that you singing in the front half of the video?
Restored my 2001 2500 only 112,000 . Excluding under the hood problems . Griill mount clips (dumb design ), frame horn rot, badly leaking steering box, axle seals , 4wd actuator, 46re garbage , transfer case severe leak, cab corners , cab mounts, death wobble , rear diff. grind, wheel arch rot, crapy tail lights . leaking cab lights, dash! etc.! To many shortcuts taken by Dodge .love my truck but, a vessel .. ah.. YES
I don’t think this truck with 4x the miles had half the problems yours did lol lemon
Beautiful!
look awesome great work you have awesome content too always learn so much watching you
Beautiful Truck
That song hit close to home anyone know the name?
Love the third gens.I like the sound of the Cummins better than my second gen.Just always have some spare change around for a tranny rebuild, its gonna die,its just when?
What’s going on with the 67 swept line?
66 crew cab is waiting for me to learn how to paint before I tackle that rig. Be back on it soon
I'm a 72 yr old Disabled Veteran and would love to buy one of your trucks if I could afford it
would have been nice to know the cost. Price of truck / parts, time, materials / sell price.
Falls under TMI. I’ve shared info like that before and opens doors to low ball offers. Not sharing that anymore

Keep Up The Third Gen Content!
Just seen this truck driving in town 😂
Was that a wtf look from Boone? 😂😂😂😂😂Saying don’t blame me for that.
What’s the music in this video!?
Nice truck
That looks awesome!! Nice job Sam!! 8) --gary
My ocd won't let me live with the fact that you didn't paint the door jams. I would have painted it the same maroon
I like it like that. Reminds me of the old color.
You didn't swap out the 48RE. I figured for sure you would. Lol
To expensive on these trucks
I’ve got a 98 2 nd gen that needs paint .
What liner did you use?
?
@@VBELTandSON bed liner. Which brand did you go with?
the n in nos means new
Very nice
Turned out pretty good, you know for a Dodge.
Just glad you called it a dodge not a ram
@@VBELTandSON lol yeah I'm that old, they'll always be Dodges to me.
