Yeah the UI might look like a mobile game being emulated on PC, but the gameplay is really fun. They add tons of changes each season, and if you like zoomer/auto-bomb playstyle then this game is for you.
The gacha “p2w” part is the pet system, but honestly you only get like ~15% more stuff than a free player after spending hundreds of dollars, even RMT in PoE is more “p2w” than this. And if you play it for a long time as f2p, you can still save up the currency and get some good pets.
They also made some good changes for free players this season. New accounts will get 100 hero emblem (so you can buy any character you want) and the loot pick-up is more optimized, so the season pass auto-loot is almost irrelevant.
@@muriloferreira6307 The UI is genuinely horrible though, it's nausea inducing. Like, I didn't know that a UI could ruin a game this hard. But it does, I don't even want to try the game because of it.

"Even RMT in PoE is more 'p2w' than this" is an insane cope that you can apply to any game with a third party black market.
This game is so under appreciated. I am only waiting for the multiplayer to give an other go but I can see myself playing it every season.

i think the hate this game gets is unfair for what it offers, i hate p2w as much as the next guy. but the game is fun enough on its own that the pets dont matter.
pros
1. good gameplay
2. build variety
3. 10+ classes that give a different play style
4. good crafting
5. Bosses, and endgame that expanse with every season
6. they are adding co-op
cons:
- pets that are p2w (by playing the game you can get a few yourself)
UI is questionable, but you get use it. they will fix it at one point.
- The game has being improving every season it didn't cost 70$ (diablo)
ziz was really against the game and time and time again has given his real thoughts on the game.
but people keep hating because the guy supports the good changes they made in the game.
THE GAME IS FUN that's a fact
i personally haven't spend much on pets coz i don't really care about them, the basic you get can be really helpful themselves.
and the power they offer isn't much to be considered game breaking. 10-15% power, you can break the game without pets.
you can easily get quant/rare drop pets with out paying money. The game gives a lot of crystals to at least get the rare pets.
new class in on the battle pass that cost 15$ which you can get next season by grinding some in game currency which is tight to challenges like peo's
if 15$ every 4-5 months is too much to spend on class when we spend 50$ on an outfit in poe i don't know what to say.

I dont know if you know anything about Zizaran but he only does sponsored Stuff if he can talk freely, which means if he didnt like it he would say so cause otherwise he wouldnt have done it.

Currently my favourite ARPG on the market in terms of fun, it's so good.
This and Poe is the most fun ARPGs if you ask me.

I actually love playing tli, don't know why there's so much hate for the game. Only thing you really need to buy imo is the $15 season pass and that's mostly for convenience. Still the 2nd best arpg on the market imo behind path of exile. people always mention p2w through the pact spirits however I have been able to do pretty well every season since black sail with only purchasing the season pass. Would definitely recommend giving it a shot if you haven't already, can easily provide 2 weeks to a month of fun each season. Also no I am not a bot, I just genuinely like the game and have racked up 1.5k hours.
Yeah. I hate how the game is stained by the gacha system because besides that it's such an incredibly fun game.
And as you've said the gacha pet system isn't even that impactful. But it still feels shitty. It's a shame because while gacha like this deserves all the hate it gets, the game itself is so fun and you can tell the devs are really passionate about the game and want to make it great.
For me it's purely the UI design. Even if the game would be fun for me, it's like driving a great car that stinks like dogshit inside. The game is just unplayable for me because of that horrific UI.
Oh man, this game looks great. I can't wait for me and my buddies to check this out and play together. We love playing ARPGs together its one of the main selling points for us. This is gonna be so good. Playing together. In a group.

I mean I guess one good thing the game has going for it is that you can't play with a group. PoE can learn from that
@@Adama.1 what's wrong with group play in PoE? If you say "they make too much currency" I'm about to hit you with a newsflash that they'd earn more currency per hour if they each played solo strats separately instead.
@@netneo4038 Yeah you'd think that, but in come aura bots that let groups juice maps to the brink of insanity that are nigh impossible for solo players to do unless they have a giga mirror build, pair it with a culler in every group using gems like item rarity support for ludicrous amounts of T1 uniques and other expensive items, and brokers/dealers that get tasked with selling and buying everything for the party, and you get a well oiled machine that solo players have no hope to compete with.
Thankfully most groups don't operate that effeciently. Would still be great if they make a seperate co-op league for people that get lonely when playing solo.
I liked the video. It is honestly said that it is sponsored, and it is clear that you played the game and researched the mechanics of the game.
Pain
I played Split Firebolt Ice-Fire Fusion Gemma last season and it was not very fun, so I quit once I got to maps.
Will look into the zoomers this time because 3.24 is down there with LoK without the fun puzzle. Worst league since Rampage for me.

You god confused there ---- most of the races you can use pay to win, some even used a payed character lvling token to win races last season, and max pets are still at least 10% more damage ;) (still love the game thou)
The leveling token could only be used if you already had a character leveled in that league. So I call bullshit on that unless some unintended interaction happened
@@netneo4038 Seems you did not participate in the race, you had 3 character slots, lvled one to the paytowin item and won on the second character, since the time was based on character, not event time

This will be my 5th season in TLI also i did played all events like ssf race this season, all people who says that pacspirits like Chalk are unimpactfull should stop taking so much copium, permanent quant bonus is very impactfull on game play and economy.
This game is niche on west and there is reason why, rng gacha pets and totally overpiced cosmetics.
i just get confused with the UI. so I do not enjoy this game due to that

Yes it's a ton of fun. I play it every league in between PoE leagues.
The devs themselves even delay their league start till after path of exiles because they all are PoE enjoyers as well.
Give it a try, they optimized alot of shit this upcoming league. You'll love it

People hate on this game waaay to much, the only p2w feature is pets and heroes, which you get half of for free, the rest being included for $15 per season with the pass, but you can literally get tons of free pets and buy the heroes just by playing the season, its a free game and no more pay to win than poe is, considering anyone can buy hundreds of divines in poe with no consequences
the new heroes are a major power spike every season (obviously) so if you dont buy them straight away you're immediately at a disadvantage.
You talking about RMT as it was part of the game and call it p2w, i know you can like or love some games but be realistic and dont try forcing "arguments" just to justify other games p2w.
Whole p2w in poe is buyng stash tabs, once and you dont need to buy them ever again, also premium stash tabs you use for trading is also one time buy opposite to TLI where when you want more trading tabs you not only need to pay for them but they are gone next season.
"Only p2w feature are pets and heroes" and thats enough reason why game is not more popular on west.
@@natit1692 Considering ggg does nothing again the rmt market and has been know having ties with top tft mod (and rmt-ers), can't really avoid talking about it. I for sure agree that torchlight infinite has way too many p2w aspect, but personally it has been more enjoyable than any other arpg to play other than poe.

I know this is sponsored but TLI is like 5x better than d4. Yes it has its problems but the game is genuinely enjoyable. It's literally a simple version of PoE. Has a great endgame too. Sucks it has the slight p2w elements but it isn't as impactful as people say, it's very subtle.

It's a shame that the silly p2w immediately makes so many people apprehensive. It's shitty for sure, but in reality not impactful at all. Aside from that one stain it's such an incredibly fun game and you can tell the devs are really passionate about it and just want to make a game where you can blast and have fun.

Small things like the interface or graphics are something that personally I give no thoughts on, unless they really hold back the game. In the case of TLI, the game would be improved with a better interface, but it isn't a deal breaker in my honest opinion.

Couldn't help but notice all the ARPG creators putting out the same sponsored video today. TI is a p2w poor attempt at an ARPG. Don't believe me then read the reviews and save yourself the download time to test it out. It might be better than Diablo Immortal though, hard to say

Pets do not influence the actual gameplay at all, compared to all the f2p options
@@iguanaATTACK They did a race event season 1, free to play and someone who has infinite cash shop currency and raced to see who would reach/beat end game first. The free to play player won by 3 hours. Its not as impactful as everyone leads on. But I do agree it does have p2w aspects.

As someone who plays all 3, of these games. Torchlight infinite is absolutely way faster than LE. It basically takes the zoom zoom fantasy of poe and focuses on that aspect and it is extremely fun.
My opinion doesnt change because i get paid. Theres lots of bad things about the game too. Its too pay 2 win, i dont like the graphics etc. But it is really fast and a lot of people enjoy that. A few poe streamers play it regularly non sponsored. Its not something id regularly play myself@BVz7942

@@Matthew-gg2hc For real, its funny that things like automation support can be said to have been inspired by tli rythm support that came out like two seasons ago, tli being tli actively improves poe but all I see is a focus on pets, like have they even really played the game, just finishing your first playthrough till endgame gives you enough jaggeds to roll x10 for pets, through milestones and achievements so it does not rely on luck, with a pretty great chance of getting quant pets, and for quant, its okay to have blue pets. I watched a Ziz video on tli before, the dude stopped playing in the campaign and gave his review, he would never encourage people to review poe or form an opinion about the game when they stop at act 5 but thats basically what he did with tli.
