- Lets check out if a $150.00 Amazon fire tablet will work with the DJI fly app. The tablet is big, but is it powerful enough to handle all that video data. If your a drone piolet on a budget check it out you may be surprised Or Not.

I have a fire hd 10 plus, ill have to try.
If it is jist a bit underpowered the fire 11 max might work for a big cheap tablet.

Great job, just what I was looking for. However my Fire 7 gives a parse error when I try to start the install. Maybe my kindle is too old? You are right, Amazon doesn't want you to do anything useful with their devices except their own software. I think mine is way too old 😞
How do you get this to work? Is it the 3gb version?😢
Did not work on my fire 8 HD plus
I also recently purchased the Fire HD 8 (2020, 10th Gen). DJI Fly requires 64 bit processing. All present Fire HD-8 use 32 bit processing. The new version of Fire HD 8 (2022, 12th gen) performs 32bit/64bit processing. That model will be released on 10/19/2022. That is a similar setup used by the Fire HD 10 (2021, 11th gen) shown in this video.

Right. I'm returning mine, because no matter what I do, it will not accept the dji apk file.

fast and light
and DJI app works 😀
the tablet does not have GPS so it's useless to find drone 😱
