Mineral oil is very stable, it also handles punishment very well also. Hvac compressors use mineral oil to keep its parts lubricated and moving. they also operate at a very high temperature and ridiculous speed in comparison to combustion engines. The tolerances are also much less so it makes sense it would actually work for a car. I would be interested to see if actual hvac compressor oil would work better for longer. It should as it's even more stable and cheaper in bulk. You could probably get more milage out of it, compressors are typically hermetically sealed and the oil can last for decades.

Mineral oil is very stable, it also handles punishment very well also. Hvac compressors use mineral oil to keep its parts lubricated and moving. they also operate at a very high temperature and ridiculous speed in comparison to combustion engines. The tolerances are also much less so it makes sense it would actually work for a car.
I would be interested to see if actual hvac compressor oil would work better for longer. It should as it's even more stable and cheaper in bulk. You could probably get more milage out of it, compressors are typically hermetically sealed and the oil can last for decades.
We need a follow-up video from when you drain the oil out of that
