I really appreciate it that even if your business is aimed at the big consumers/hobbyists you always never fail to add recommendations for the starting hobbyists. Thank you for being generous with your knowledge!
Yes !!! Filter, co2 and finally light, thanks for all. Please make a separate playlist in your video section of these 3 videos , because they are most basic tips for setting up a planted tank. Congratulations for 100k subscribers 😁
I don’t think enough praise is given to you for the lighting of your videos. 20+ years in the business is evident. Your videos are lit perfect. What a joy to watch.
Thanks so much, but I know our flaws, especially by having some experience with pro-level lighting. But we're gonna try to make it better and better with time and to develop the video tech too. Fingers crossed.
you know green aqua is committed when they respond to comments from a video 4 months ago lol. super super inspiring, BEST aquascaping shop and RUclips channel
A BIG Congrats to you guys for achieving the 100k subscribers mark!! I remembered I was awestruck by all the beautiful scapes in your gallery/shop when George made a video of his first visit to your gallery. I'm so glad you have a channel for people like myself to follow, learn and get inspired. I don't normally comment or even give a “Like” to the videos that i watch on RUclips but Green Aqua and George's channel are the only 2 channels that gets the most (i'm not exaggerating here) “Likes” and comments from me. It is a testament to how much i enjoy watching your videos. You guys are definitely bringing more and more people into this hobby with one good video at a time. Cheers and keep up the excellent work!!
Thanks so much for your kind words, they really mean a lot to us. We appreciate all the positivity that comes from you, keeps us going! Will do our best to earn that attention from you in the future too. Cheers mate.
My name is Vikram Singh chauhan . I am from India .and green aqua is my favourite RUclips chanel .. Those things I know about planted tank, just because of you guys .. you guys are my teacher in this subject .. just love you guys .. so much respect and love for you.. i am just mad about planted tanks.. from 1.5years i am learning about planted tank and may be 95% which i know about this just because of you guys . Pls try to share every smallest detail about everything.. 🙏🙏 Pls don't think about the video period, Is it going too long or not .. 🙏 Love u guys
Great tutorial again, this one I had some questions how you choose them with your scapes, but you answered them all. Thanks and looking forward to next weeks vid .
I guess you will never read this comment - but this is now my fav channel on youtube. I watched all of the videos twice. Really started my love for aquariums again! I just got another two tanks for my kids and I now care for 4 tanks/week and learn new stuff everyday. After this crazy time is over my plan is to visit your store. Would love to attend a presentation or have a cup of coffee!
Cheers! Didn't you know that we read and reply to all comments?! ;) As long as I can manage. Takes too long though. Thanks for the kind words, glad we inspire you. Hope to have you around for a long time. Let us know if you have any questions or comments.
urging to send you a mail, but waited till the end and the answer is 30cm :) tyvm fro you content, there is not an unit in the imperial or the metric system how much you helped me, and i look forward to sending you the finished product , just hope that 1:1 scale DIY light ( tank is 50*50 cm and the light is goan be 50*50 ) is not gonna look bad. Thank you again for your incredible content
Cheers, glad you found it useful, hope it's not a problem that we kept the scientific stuff away from it. 🤪We don't think a lot about it nowadays, just do what we do and it works for us. 😇
Ca:Mg:K 2:1:0,5 K shouldn't be too much above 10 mg/L therefore soft-moderate hardness water will yield the best results. Additional fertilization of NO3 and PO4 will be needed for high tech (high light!) tanks with low and very low stock of animals. Example: Tap water is 20 mg/L Ca, then the ideal Mg is 10 mg/L and 5 mg/L K. Weekly or even daily fertilization will yield the best results. An estimate for each nutrient can be done with the method of the Estimative Index. The most precise method is to measure the nutrient consumption with precise drip tests and fertilize daily accordingly.
Come on now! 😅Water parameters tutorial. How difficult would that be to find? It's like the third video back in time. ruclips.net/video/pnUbjHr7jbU/видео.html
Thank you very much, it is very difficult to find videos that good. Many just want to introduce brands and new technologies, it was the first time that I saw a good video talking about T5 lamps! Thanks again for sharing your knowledge, you helped a Brazilian and a fan of your channel!
I'm new to this and have had this algae that's covering everything, plants and rocks, in tiny hairs. I trim plants to limit it but what the hell is it and how do I stop it?? Thanks
The best advice I take : "Be happy with your aquarium..."...Great words! Thank You...It's now time, to go back ...and have more "This not a low budget aquarium"???? hahahaha
ADA White LED lights used to have (as long as I remember) 7.500-8.000 k color. That is the reason why they are so strong in the green zone of spectrum. You are getting us used to too much high quality videos, so it's hard to watch other channels. Great job. Thank you.
Thanks a lot mate, glad you like our format and our style. We're trying our best. Yeah, the white LED ADA lights had higher color temperature indeed. I did not like the yellowish-greenish tint of the old lights though. Good that we have these new ones nowadays.
Too much music but awesome content. It keeps getting loud and I don’t like that they’re singing like Backstreet Boys, etc.. just instrumental and more quietly, same volume as your voice so we don’t have to keep turning it down. Sub’d and liked!
Congratulations on bringing you new things like this. The green Aqua channel is a channel that provides a comprehensive knowledge of the really important aquatic environment. These things are a little new experience for Sri Lanka. I kindly request you to kindly help our country to get this technology as well. We have less resources
Hi Balizs I love your videos just got back into fish keeping after 30 year's and just started aquascaping having come across yours and George Farmer's videos on u tube your a real inspiration to me fantastic scaps and beautiful video I'm learning so much from you . Keep up the fantastic work. Barry
You're welcome, glad you found these useful, we tried to keep the scientific parts away from them, as much as possible. Overcomplicating and over-analysing things never helps.
You guys rock. The quality of your videos, the depth and breadth of the advice and its evident to the viewer you love what you do makes for amazing audience engagement. Kudos!
Thank you so much for this Video! In my oportunity, you guys are the best aquascapers that are alive 🥰 (r.i.p Takashi Amano)! I am from Germany, but I hope I am able to visit your shop ... In a few years 😓
You're welcome, glad you like our work. We tried to present you with what we use here, including the budget alternatives. But you're right, good equipment costs more (not only in aquascaping).
Excelent like always. I started in the end of the 90's and i prove all the options (tubes, pll, hqi, led etc) and i think you can get excelent even same results with all options, but obviously with modern more efficient options you need less units than before so is more simply . I still love pll and hqi but today finally i accept that LEDs as the most efficient option, they do not need reflectors, thats is an advantage. Saludos from chile, someday i will visit green aqua :) Guillermo Barrientos
good morning, congratulations on the great job. I'm talking about Brazil, I'm starting with planted fishkeeping. Green Aqua's tutorials are spectacular. congratulations on the videos
nice video here, green aqua! thanks for your tutorials, it always help so much for beginner like me. and congratulation for 100k subs, i'll wait for your next and next after next video :D
😂 Love the sound effects with the blinding lights for "your spouses special sofa lighting" ... I personally know what that comment is about. 😉 Thanks a lot for the information and beautiful video contributions. Next time in Pest I will make a detour over to you guys in Buda. Such a nice place. I need to see it in person and say hello. 👋
Thank you so much for these tutorial videos. I've learned so much with you and love the high quality! And the outtakes are included making it real. Thanks GreenAqua. I personally have a onf square (couldn't drill my ceiling) with the 90cm onf hanging light. I love it. Really clean design.
Hi there Balazs, another top video, interesting to know that T5 is still being used successfully in the " age of LEDS " . There is so much confusion about colour mixes nowadays, thank you for explaining it in simple terms . Thanks as always .👍👏
You're welcome, yeah, that was the main point of this video - to have it simple. Lighting is a no-brainer really, but most will overcomplicate it with PAR reading, color temperature, peaks of all kinds, etc. 😅And if you dig deeper it turns out that everything is about the finance, really. Which is okey, but it creates a lot of confusion. Also, I don't want to know what inputs and outputs the onboard computer of my car has (Tommy would of course. 🤪), I just want to know weather it's reliable and would take me where I want it to go and that it's comfortable and maybe even fast... 😇
Very informative video. All my aquariums have led lights on them, for the simple reason that I forget when to replace tubes. Just simplyfies it for me. All of them are low tech so the adjustable intensity helps a lot to controle algae growth.
Finally after a long... Thanks team for this video and after watching this video I went again to that video where you did a waterproof test of twinstar.. Those expression of balaze was epic 🤣🤣🤣🤣... Btw next stop is 1mn subscribers 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Congrats on the 100K again Green Aqua team, it is well deserved. I'm about to do my own testing on a few of the name LEDs out there and looking forward to putting it out there for folks to see - keep up the awesome content, here's to hoping I get lucky and can come out to Green Aqua in the future!
Thank you for the tutorial that you shared. I will dream and will get the best lamp (manufacturer) in the future. I'm sure of that, because Aquascape is indeed a beautiful world. Congratulations to 100K subscribers! I will return to this channel next week (for the latest content) even though I actually watch videos from Green Aqua almost every day hahahahahaha
I really appreciate it that even if your business is aimed at the big consumers/hobbyists you always never fail to add recommendations for the starting hobbyists. Thank you for being generous with your knowledge!
When you said ‘and why are the aquariums beautiful’ I thought you were gonna say ‘because I scaped it’. Haha great video guys
Haha, well, if I would really think that, there would be big problems with my ego, right? 😇🤪
Haha not at all, you guys a great at scraping!
Wow man you so funny I shit my pants literally!
Yeah he missed his chance lol
That would have been sooo hilarious! At this point I don't think anyone would take you that serious.

Cheers Kris, been struggling at the beginning :)
The shimmering effect you get with the LED is quite beautiful. It is as if you are scuba diving. Magical!
Yepp, shimmering effect is cool!

Wait a sec.... this is the first time I ever seen a RUclips channel reply back to so many of there viewers, this is a great channel
