      May be challenging for you to hear if you’re not familiar with what you’re looking for due to the iPhone’s built in compression but in person it made a very noticeable difference. Oftentimes you’re not looking for massive changes but subtle ones and in this case it’s about releasing tension for a fuller sound. It’s also about how it feels for them to produce the sounds and how much effort they have to put into getting it to come out

      I thought the difference was audible in the tail-end of the scream. More textural than tonal.
