"Will PODS help My Boat"

Pods are hit or miss. Sometimes, they are exactly what you need, and sometimes, they are the complete opposite! I have a good feeling about this one. This boat has a lot of weight on the transom, so I think this is a good candidate. We shall see!

You all do know it’s water displacement not flotation. Water weight v. square of the area submerged will tell you if these work

Your work is solid.... But the owner of that boat is pushing his luck with that transom. That is a lot of weight hanging on the back, and the unevenness you showed at the beginning is signs of stress buckle. He needs to replace the wood, and add a couple angle supports.
Buddy of mine had his transom buckle and split while trailering on a bumpy road. His 14ft Jon boat had rotted wood core and the weight of a long tail with 22hp engine.

Im good on that. Im a finesse welder. Maybe im spoiled, I have a couple mig aluminum setups, but its not something I do on a regular basis. I appreciate you watching and the feedback. Iĺl play around with it!
