Good video, especially your comments on how to hold the controller and rear button placement. Word of advice, might be more able to hear the button clicks if you stopped the background music.

11:00 Just a heads up, the wired one doesn't include/support interchangeable thumbsticks. And 15:40, the design had to change because the magnets would've affected the hall effect sensors 😅 but I don't mind the new design, most people stick to one size so this just makes it more sturdy.

Wow you are correct. Didn't even think about that. And as for as the interchangeable sticks I did fail to mention that thanks but it may be a plus. Not a total review. I will be reviewing the tournament edition when I get one. Thanks for watching.

You can totally grab the controller without pressing the button on mine, I have to actually press the back button to have a reaction, just holding the controller isn't enough to click them. About the V2 your fingers have to go to the button to press it, that's top-notch controller, designed with a professional e player, and you said yourself "everybody hate the back button on V2"

Magnets, how do they work? Well, if it used magnets to hold the caps on, the Hall Effects might not.

i heard that u just cant use magnets for sticks removal because there are magnets already.

Me personally I love the way the elite series 2 does it. I've tried multiple pro controllers similar to it I much prefer to have my fingers right on the paddles for the face buttons and I've used controllers similar to the V2 as well I dislike the back buttons being away from my fingers I like them to fit perfectly. And I love the extra buttons of the razer. I don't really have a preference for paddles or buttons as long as either of them work and fit my hands well I don't care the 2 extra buttons is why I'm most interested in this controller and it being similar to the V2. But I do have one question how do the thumb sticks compare size wise to the V2

The placement of the back buttons on this is really nice. I think you will like it if you like the Elite paddles. I personally just don't want to rest my fingers on the buttons until I am ready to use them much like the buttons on the top.

@@maritimesteak8540 I recently acquired the Wolverine v3 tournament edition, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. The sticks are medium-sized, but since you prefer larger sticks, I would highly recommend getting Kontrol Freaks and attaching them to the sticks.

@@SeriouslyTechStuff do you know if razer has any plans of releasing a ps5 version of this. i really dislike the razer wolverine v2 back buttons. but i want a controller with a gyroscope. unfortunatly because microsoft does not support gyro on xinput, most 3r party developers are limited to having a dualshock or switch pr mode on steam or rewasad. but both the dualshock and switch pro controller dont have back buttons. so you are limited to just copies of already existing inputs on the back
the other option is if a controller menufactoror actually puts gyro to mouse translation on their controller itself. like on the alpakka controller. the beitong zeus 1 and 2 can also do this, but i dont like ther triggerstops on that.
all i want is a controller with a correct 98% trigger sopt with mouse click. mechanical face buttons. 4 good back buttons and hall effect sticks with mouse like gyro. Theire is not a single controller that fits all of these criterias. The alpakka hs the best gyro (2 sensors). greatly placed back buttons. but it has only two. short mouse like triggers. but i miss having mechanical face buttons or optical face buttons.
Microsoft really needs to ad gyro to theire controller and support it on xinput. they are holding the whole industry back.

Sticks not close to being centered out of the box with a 4 dead zone to stop drift. No thanks. The wired one has zero DZ problems and sticks .2 out. Buy the wired.

Can you use the galaxy kontrol freaks on this as I use those on my elite series 2, and as for your concerns about the sticks only going on one way I just don't think it's an issue as I hardly ever remove mine. I know that my series 2 is on the blink but I have had it for quite a while now and it's been great although I have had a left bumper problem so I am thinking of a new controller and would get another series 2 but this one does interest me although it is £50 more expensive! I know you don't like the back button position but I only use two on the series 2 and really like the position of them, so do I try this Razer I am concerned about the 4 back buttons and pressing them by mistake :) also how do you remap the buttons to A and X is it easy enough to do or is it a faff?

@@andyarmitage2895 according to some redditors, kontrol freeks will fit. setting buttons is extremely easy, you have different profiles and in each profile you can assign to the paddles. All done through the app.

I don't have any kontrol freaks but looking at the size of the sticks compared to the regular Xbox ones they are really close in size and shape. Shouldn't have a problem. As far as pushing buttons by mistake, I haven't yet. You don't "press" them so much as squeeze them. And I will get into the software in my official review. Hope this helps.
