I am the new owner of this car. Bought it a year ago from the dealer who was selling it at the time of this video. When I bought it is was making 600hp to the wheels. I sent it back to SOHO Motor Sports who are the ones who did this build. Did some up grades. Methanol snow kit installed. New coil overs all the way around. Added some gauges and some drag radials in the back. The car now makes 640hp to the wheels. It has launch control and no lift shit. I launch this thing at 5000rpm. With the no lift shift and shifting at 7500rpm this car moves out and handles like a dream. All this on a stock motor. So far she is still alive and well. If she blows she will be upgraded to a 900hp...at the wheels.

Building new motor with aftermarket block and had to O ring block to handle boost. Also upgraded twin turbos to 63mm. Added small roll cage. She is being built as we speak. Going to run 35lbs of boost and over 1000hp at wheels. Will give you exact numbers when complete and dynoed.
Add in the fact he cant even drive a stick correctly. Shifts 4 gears in 2 seconds only going up in 500 rpm total. LOL. StiLl makes me mis my old 2010 NISMO
...Have you owned any car with more than 334hp? You rarely ever rev pass 4000rpm. You will already be accelerating faster than most vehicles on the road and you're loud. You are a cop magnet. Yes I drive a boosted 370z, only 7-8lb of boost. It's my daily.

he shifts like if it were a video game racing car. super early shifts and no letting the clutch slowly so it doesn't put to much stress on the clutch disk this cars have super hard clutch engagement
Don't get the NISMO. The only difference is stiffer suspension, CBE(which is lame anyways), and a big gay Ebay body kit. Get the Sport Touring instead. You'll be happier in the end.
Nice car. All you need now is someone who knows how to drive it. This guys shifts way too early. I don't think he got to actually feel the max output of the engine because he shifts too soon. Let me drive it.

Maybe 650 at the crank, not wheel. These motors are semi reliable to 550 wheel hp. With E85 600 whp can be reliable on a stock block. My turbo G37 made 500 whp very reliably.
I own one. Saving up for a TT set up. U definitely didnt get up to 6k rpm shifting in this video as I read in a comment, redline is a little over 7k... I would of loved to see a fly by in this with 650hp to the wheels...
Dude, don't replace your 370 for a TT. I own a TT and it's not worth nearly the amount of money they want for it brand new. The exhaust is incredibly weak and cannot be saved by the best aftermarket setup, and the engine is surprisingly difficult to work with since Audi thinks they're special snowflakes. Yes, the TT is faster. Period; mostly from it's AWD system. But you can spend 20 grand less on a brand new 370 and put a Stage 3 turbo kit on it and still save 10 grand than what you get from a stock Audi TT to make it faster, not to mention you'll insantly ruin any decent tires if you happen to drift your tires on a sharp turn. This is why I'm selling my TT and will get a 370z for it's place and do my own mods. It's sportier, easier to work with, better exhaust, and cheaper overall. (Unless you're talking about literally a Twin Turbo and not an Audi TT, so if that's the case ignore my reply entirely, but I'll keep it up so it might convince someone else otherwise.)

That is My Old Car it has a AAM Twin Turbo on it! 600 TO THE WHEELS and Trust me it will RUN I couldn't Afford to keep it up but Soho Motorsports in Charlotte, NC did all the work to it! Crazy seeing this Dude driving it and he is in Low Boost which is Like 100 Horsepower less!
Inthepocket Nice review but that’s not 650 wheel horsepower. At 6 pounds of boost that Z is probably putting out 450 at the crank. Oh and that wing blocking the view out the rear... 9:04 it’s definitely something to worry about. The better you see out the back the quicker you spot cops and other potential problems that might occur.
Brad, I totally agree! I had a Supra until recently with 630rwhp and I was running 25psi boost. I call BS on a 3.7 making 650 rwhp on 7psi. Even with a high (stock) compression ratio I think you would need 15 or 16psi to get 650 rwhp on this car.
Obviously the person who gave him the car to review turned the boost down so he wouldn't wreck anything. Probably at low 400whp in this video. At 650 you're spinning the tires all the way in 4th.

I think it's because people don't realize that the 350's had the brembo option, and then the 370's went to Akebonos. I'm sure Nissan saved $ in the process in making the change, but unless they are a Z owner, they rarely are going to research it to that extreme. Personally I love my 370z, but the stock Akebonos must be paired with a more aggressive pad/ss lines/fluid flush/and ideally some Z1 two piece rotors = finally a great braking setup.
@ 1:19 WHAT? The Nismo has the exact same Akebono brakes as the sport package 370z. The 370z was NEVER offered with Brembo's from the factory in any form. Only the 350z was.
I think the 370z really only shines in manual. My friend has a 2016 one and it's auto and it just doesn't seem to preform like the other 370zs that i've seen that are manual.

It is the AAM kit. But SOHO did the install since the previous owner of the car lived in Charlotte. The tune on the car when I filmed it was closer to 600whp. The current owner of this car had it tuned up a bit a few month after buying it. Currently this car just got done with a full engine build back at SOHO and is making close to 850whp with the same AAM TT kit.

I actually winded up buying the 370Z Nismo its on my profile picture. This might sound strange but the way I can describe the car is if the 350Z and the G37 Coupe had a baby it would make a 370z lol.
Boss FOURR Speed...Nismo 370's don't get Brembo brakes. They have the same Akebono brake kit found on the sport package 370z. Brembo's were only on the 350z Track model, Grand Touring and Nismo editions.
So with the sticker of a 2017 around $46K and the twin turbo kit costing about $10K what would the total cost look like with labor , tuning and any other bells and whistles like exhaust and auto tranny upgrades ? How does the stock rear hold up to 650 RWHP ?
10 grande only for the kit uhhh... so I only need about 15 to 20 thousand dollars to make this VQ exiting ... that why I traded in my g37. Not worth it for the average working man wanting some speed.

When you look at how much the Z *weighs*, there really is no point in buying one over a Vette or similiar weighted car with a V8. Only thing going for the Z is the shorter wheelbase right now.
BlueonGoldZ Base car to base car with LSD trim, a C4 weighs less than a 370Z. Combine that with equal HP on an LT4 engine head, 30 lb-ft more torque, AND a shorter wheelbase. LT C4's could easily outmatch almost any stock Z.
All depends on your right foot could last longer then stock could break the next day its all about your right foot and how you treat the car. Regular services and oil changes and prevention maintenance like massive oil cooler and trans coolers and oversized rad for turbos. And coolant rads
Those are genuine Nismo wheels that come with a Nismo version. It came with two finishes. A black chrome and a silver finish. I have the part numbers for both wheels if you need.
They need to improve the performance more for the price too , its a bit more expensive price tag and these use to be able compete with the Mustang GT's in the olden days.
letsroll If the GTR came with more horsepower then they would update the 370z. Getting a car with almost as much horsepower for 50k less would render the GTR worthless.
I just bought a 2014 sport touring with 14k miles. It is cherry and so lucky to find it. It will get a TT kit added. Keep looking they are out there and the sport touring is usually such a deal.
When you speak it sounds very scripted, almost like you were reading a TelePrompTer. Relax more and act yourself, talk about the car like you were talking to your friends and be confident. Other than that, I enjoy most of your videos.

Well I didn't completely floor it either, plus I short shifted. With that psi and turbo kit, dyno sheets show 600-650whp.

2 turbos, and not even making 8 lbs of boost? Either those turbos are tiny/too small, or someone needs to up the boost a bit.

Don't forget it's on standard internals with a fairly high 11:1 compression ratio. Massive amounts of boost isn't needed for big power.
The draw back with this set up is the fact that 10 years from now the stock 370 will be running just fine. This one will be broken down
All depends on your right foot could last longer then stock could break the next day its all about your right foot and how you treat the car. Regular services and oil changes and prevention maintenance like massive oil cooler and trans coolers and oversized rad for turbos. And coolant rads

100%. Thi scar now has over 1000 HP and is still running perfect. The Z is a solid platform

Those are genuine Nismo wheels that come with a Nismo version. It came with two finishes. A black chrome and a silver finish. I have the part numbers for both wheels if you need.

By todays standard, it really needs an update.
They need to improve the performance more for the price too , its a bit more expensive price tag and these use to be able compete with the Mustang GT's in the olden days.

I just bought a 2014 sport touring with 14k miles. It is cherry and so lucky to find it. It will get a TT kit added. Keep looking they are out there and the sport touring is usually such a deal.
