  • Fox News host and ”Outnumbered” cohost Tomi Lahren surprisingly denounced the treatment of Kyle Rittenhouse as a celebrity by the Conservative movement. This criticism comes after Rittenhouse received rock-star treatment at Turning Point USA’s America Fest event, a gathering of top Conservative media personalities who gave lectures and speeches to college-age conservatives. Ana Kasparian and Wosny Lambre discuss on The Young Turks. Watch LIVE weekdays 6-8 pm ET. ruclips.net/user/theyoungturkslive

    "In a sudden change of tone during a Fox News segment Tuesday, the "Outnumbered" cohost Tomi Lahren pumped the brakes on conservatives treating Kyle Rittenhouse as a "rock star or a celebrity."
    Rittenhouse - who was acquitted on all charges after he shot and killed two people with an AR-15-style rifle during protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin - received a raucous reception at the Turning Point USA's "AmericaFest" conference that went beyond a standing ovation.
    Accompanied by his own theme song, the 18-year-old was greeted by chants of his name, a raising of hands for girls who'd like to go on a date with him and at least one "kiss me" sign, according to an observer for AZ Right Wing Watch in the crowd."

      @@Red1Green2Blue3 he originally said he didn’t want his ‘story’ to be used to bolster a political narrative, which can happen whether you’re being paid or not. At the time, it sounded like a stock line from his lawyer, who advised him not to get involved with any of this stuff. Not that he listens - the lawyers weren’t happy about the Tucker Carlson documentary. It was inevitable that people would shower him with glory and he’d bask in it, even when he said he wasn’t going to do so it sounded rehearsed and not believable.

    • @karlbanksy7722
      @karlbanksy7722 2 года назад +2

      The right didn't make a celebrity of him at all. Kyle would have been entirely unknown had liberal media not picked up and over publicized the story. Then they tried to label him a white supremacist for shooting there white guys one shouting nothing but the N word the entire night. So no not even the alt right made him a celebrity not even the most extreme of extremely extreme right wing extremist made him a celebrity. Tyt CNN ABC NBC all made them a celebrity trying to push a narrative they just couldn't make that narrative stick. They lied about every aspect of the trial that existed. Ana from tyt first reported that Kyle was the person chasing Joseph she later had to say I'm sorry that was poor reporting I didn't get the facts first Kyle was actually the one being chased. She said the gun was purchased illegally in Illinois which she later had to say sorry it in fact was bought in Wisconsin by Kyle. Then she had to retract that and report that the firearm was purchased by Dominic Black. Ana also kept stating the narrative he brought it across state lines who knows why that kept being said because that's also not an illegal act. She didn't even correct that it hadn't crossed across the Wisconsin border until several weeks after it was proven that never happened and the trial was over. Cenk from tyt also said it's impossible to inflict fatal injuries from a skateboard. I actually reach out to cenk on Twitter with a petition I made to release the three white kids that beat that black 15yo to death with a skateboard in California since it's well known that his death couldn't have happened from a skateboard. His staff actually replied that never happened until I linked the story to them they then deleted their tweet. So no right wingers didn't make him a celebrity you guys kept him in the media and he easily jumped every hurdle of lies threw at him. Now you got to deal with the fact that he jumped those hurdles while you kept him in the spot lights .

      @Leftists are Naturally Weak In 1985, Cornell law professor Sheri Lynn Johnson reviewed a dozen mock-jury studies. She concluded that the “race of the defendant significantly and directly affects the determination of guilt.” In these studies, identical trials were simulated, sometimes with white defendants and sometimes with African Americans. Professor Johnson discovered that white jurors were more likely to find a black defendant guilty than a white defendant, even though the mock trials were based on the same crime and the same evidence.

Not guilty means that the prosecution could not prove "beyond a reasonable doubt" that a person committed the crime. Therefore, the court does not pronounce someone as “innocent” but rather “not guilty”. The thing is he shows no remorse for killing two people and that is not normal human behaviour. @@LoudmouthReviews It doesn't matter if its 30 miles my point was he was perfectly safe in his own home. He wasn't defending his home. He wasn't deputized by the Kenosha PD and in fact he was breaking their curfew just like the rioters.
      Kenosha had their PD, the county sheriff deputies there, state police and the national guard. Do we really need a self-appointed 17 year old with zero police training, roaming the streets looking for trouble? Two people would still be alive today and Rittenhouse would not have gone through this trial if he let the police handle this.
      Would you be comfortable with BLM protestors showing up with AR-15s? Many people support him because his politics align with theirs. If you have people you don't agree with doing what he did would the same people still be supportive? Maybe not. Just a clarification. While I support protest I do not support burning, looting, vandalizing property. You don't right a police wrong by committing other crimes.
      To answer your question about the civil suit, Anthony Huber's family (the second guy Rittenhouse killed) has just named Rittenhouse in their $10 million dollar lawsuit along with the City of Kenosha and the police department. Civil court is different than criminal court. The burden of proof is very different. OJ Simpson was acquitted of murdering his wife in 1995. Yet he later faced a wrongful death civil lawsuit over the same case and lost.

      @@Da9ine5ive if you go to kill somebody who raped you in the past, that’s premeditated murder. If you went to chill with that person knowing he raped you in the past, one has to ask whether the intention of going over was to give yourself an opportunity to kill him.
      Those scenarios are about taking the law into your own hands.
      As to Rottenhouse, no one was trying to actually kill him. Actions were taken against Rottenhouse, that is true, but it was Rottenhouse who perceived it to be a threat to his life, when it wasn’t since no one was actually trying to kill him. But the fact that no one was actually trying to kill him is besides the point, because it is enough that Rottenhouse in good faith perceived it to be a lethal threat to him. That is why what Rottenhouse did was lawful. And that’s the end of it in law, it was legally self-defence in law. And in law I too 100% agree with the verdict outcome.
      However, morally, he did also go there wanting to kill, he went there with blood lust, while those he killed and their fellow protestors didn’t go there to kill or with blood lust. But again, in law this is besides the point, because it doesn’t matter if they didn’t go to kill anyone including Rottenhouse, it’s enough that they gave chase to him and made him feel that he was going to be killed. That’s why this wasn’t relevant to the case. So to be clear, I too would’ve voted to acquit Rottenhouse if I had been on the jury. So don’t get me wrong.
      My issue with Rottenhouse therefore isn’t a legal one, it’s a moral one. What he did was legal, but he himself went with immoral intentions and blood lust, those he killed didn’t, they were demanding and end to police brutality against Blacks, they didn’t go there wanting to kill anyone. Rottenhouse did. But again, all legally irrelevant, only morally relevant.
      In hindsight then, being in Rottenhouse’s shoes, a moral person in his shoes would regret the need for the use of that deadly force as an unwanted but necessary choice because of the stupid actions made by the deceased who one now knows weren’t trying to kill me though one didn’t know that at the time, while their death one would consider as regrettable but an unavoidable consequence.
      That is why I said a moral person would then humbly chastise what the deceased was doing to merit his justified killing so that I can use this as a teaching opportunity to others not do the same as the deceased so that they aren’t also killed for the same reason, while simultaneously mourning his unavoidable death brought upon himself by his stupid actions that weren’t taken to kill me but nevertheless made me believe so at that time.
      But NOOOOOOOOO, an immoral person like Rottenhouse and those supporting him, as we witnessed at the conference, are doing the opposite. And it is showing that it is blood lust.
      People there were celebrating the death. People there were wanting more of the “others” being killed when you get the chance and to take the opportunity to kill. People were not mourning the deceased’s death as a regrettable but unavoidable tragedy, but rather as a cheerful point score that is welcomed and should be repeated to bring about more deaths.

    • @dsp6373
      @dsp6373 2 года назад

      @Dust Buster Rottenhouse wasn’t guilty of murder. It was legally self-defence. What he did was lawful. The issue was that he went there with immoral intentions, hoping for a kill, looking and searching for an opportunity to kill within the law. And he took the first opportunity.
      I feel like I’m having to correct both sides of the aisle.

    • @dsp6373
      @dsp6373 2 года назад +1

      @Leftists are Naturally Weak the video evidence shows that Rottenhouse was acting within the law of self-defence. The video evidence shows him being chased and threatened. On that basis Rottenhouse’s actions were lawful. The issue isn’t the lawfulness of his actions. That has been adjudicated already in his favor. The issue is the morality of why he went there. He went there with blood lust. But that is irrelevant because everything else he did once there was within the law.
      In law, it doesn’t matter that he went looking to lawfully kill people demanding equal police treatment for blacks and and end to police brutality against blacks, because Rottenhouse is against an end to police brutality against Blacks and he’s against equal police treatment of Blacks, but it simply wasn’t relevant in law.
      It is totally legal to be a racist. It’s only illegal to act out that racism in unlawfully discriminatory ways or to commit crimes with aggravated racist motivation. But what Rottenhouse did wasn’t a crime, it wasn’t unlawful, so it’s not relevant that he’s racist against Blacks or dislikes white allies of Blacks at the time of the actions that he took when he killed those white allies of Blacks. If what he did had been a crime, not in self defence, if the deceased hadn’t done anything to give him a lawful reason to do what Rottenhouse did, in that case his racism would’ve added an aggravated factor. But what Rottenhouse did in the actual case was lawful, so his racism was irrelevant.
      The lesson to the left is DON’T give people like Rottenhouse a legal reason to kill you, BECAUSE THEY WANT TO LEGALLY KILL YOU and they will if you’re stupid enough to needlessly do something that can be perceived by them as a lethal threat even if you don’t intend it to be. Go out, protest, but do it within the law, and if another Rottenhouse type of person kills you then, only then will he will go to jail. But he didn’t go to jail this time because you did things that gave him the opportunity to lawfully kill you, and he killed you because he was aching to lawfully kill a black person or a white ally of blacks.

      Rottenhouse has an online footprint that attests to his disdain of Blacks. Interestingly enough, it is only after he killed the white BLM allies, because he went there because he was against BLM as a movement because he was against equal police treatment of blacks and the end of police brutality against blacks, only after the killings he claimed to Tucker Carlson that he now supports BLM, when previously he was agains it and blacks.

      I don't know, when you look back at human history this is common. Think of the Roman generals returning from campaign, dragging behind them all that stolen wealth, and slaves, and foreign leaders that will be publicly executed. The Romans would cheer and cheer for such feats, even though we now know that these feats usually involved genocide. Julius Caesar gets a lot of credit for being better and more kind than his predecessors, but let's not forget that right before he gave all of his Roman opposition amnesty he also had just finished murdering roughly 1 million Celts and Gauls and Germans across Western Europe. Horrible violence has always been celebrated by somebody. This is all very human. Just remember that the Republicans have a hard time seeing past their lizard brains, and so they fall into the same fatal thinking that the Romans did. Watch somebody resurrect gladiatorial combat, Republicans will be ALL over that, like MMA but with body parts getting hacked off and people screaming as they die. Yup, the Trump crowd would LOVE it, you know they would. All hail Nero or whatever!

      Your rights end when you infringe on someone else's. Don't go beating up and trying to kill people in the street just because "you think they are a bad person" and believe that you haven't ceased your right to life. The moment you are the aggressor is the moment you forfeit your rights.

    What I got from the verdict was the last man standing should get an automatic aquittal. Technically everyone involved in a shootout fears for their life and is using self defense. An active shooter can be walking down the street shooting people, if a "good guy with a gun" tries to stop him, gets shot and dies, the shooter was defending himself. No charges for that shooting. I guess my point is, if you are a "good guy with a gun" you better win the shootout or they will paint you as the bad guy.

Its a radical right wing theocratic death cult and if anyone, even Trump, goes against their narrative, they will turn on them in a heartbeat. I think even right wing hierarchies are getting freaked out by this because they are looking at being replaced by Marjory Taylor Greene Q clones in the future now.
