  • 1-6 oz box Cherry Jello
    2 cups boiling water
    2-20 oz cans pineapple tidbits
    2-15.25 oz cans peach chunks
2-14.5 oz cans pears, cut into bite size chunks
    2-15 oz cans mandarin oranges
    1-16 oz jar maraschino cherries
    3 ripe bananas, sliced
In a large bowl; empty the jello packet and add 2 cups of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved. Place into the refrigerator until jello is set. Approximately 1 ½ hours.
In a separate bowl; place the pineapple tidbits, peach chunks and 1 can of juice from each fruit. Discard the other juice. Pour one can of juice from the pears and mandarin oranges adding to the other fruit. Discard the other juice. Cut the pears into bite size chunks and cut mandarin oranges in half. Drain the juice from the maraschino cherries and discard. Cut the cherries in half and add to the other fruit.
Once the jello is set; cut into bite size pieces. Add all the fruit with the juice and stir well. Refrigerate until ready to eat. Just before serving, add the sliced bananas. Enjoy!
**If you would like to cut this recipe in half; use the 6 oz jello and the jar of maraschino cherries, but reduce each fruit by one can.
My Aunt Debbie introduced me to this fruit salad. It is so refreshing. This dish would be great on a picnic or your next potluck. I hope you would consider making this for your family.
    Blessings,
    Terri
