Superboats class is more like the cheque book is the limit. From Rodney Pohio, Pete Caughey to the recent ones of Rob Coley Glen head and more. It takes a big budget to run that class as the engines are tuned to the brink of disaster. The hulls are also tuned in a specific way. Peter Caughey would not allow us to lift his boat from the water as he didn't want his secret revealed. He is the designer and builder of Sprintec boats here in New Zealand.

There’s nothing wrong with stud girdles. I ran a 540 in a v drive 8200 rpm. 810 lift cam. 500 hp fogger. Never had a problem with valve train. Motor has 8 seasons on. Rings, bearings and springs only thing I’ve changed.

With all do respect, Stud rockers and girdles have no place on a serious SBC or SBF. That is place you can’t spend enough money.
