- The ALL NEW CT4 is Cadillac's answer for a small luxury sedan. Under the hood is a 2.7 turbocharged inline-4 that produces 310HP & mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The CT4 sits on a rear wheel drive chassis. On the outside you will find the a unique grill, headlights, wheels and rear bumper area. On the inside you will find a tons of luxury, easy to us infotainment system and comfortable leather seating.

Got my 2021 CT4 last week. This is the most comfortable, easy to drive car I have ever owned. Cadillac fan for life here!! Still learning the bells and whistles it has.
Would the base version handle the same as the one shown in this video ?
It’s been a year. Have you had any problems? Would you say it’s been pretty reliable?

Joe Raiti one of the best car reviewers on RUclips! I like how he gives a perspective in the intro then goes into his routine. Describes the vehicle in his own unique way.
I’m glad I chose to get my ATS 2.0 turbo over this they are basically the same car you’ll notice most interior and trunk rear cabin is all the same as ATS. I mean some of the things that to me make the ATS a better looking car is a real exhaust on my 2.0 turbo with rear diffuser base model the stock rims seem to be a little better looking and the 2.0L turbo produces more power than the 2.0L turbo for the base for the CT4.
The cue system the only thing that sucks about older caddilacs
I've had both the CT4 is way better than the ATS in my opinion
How sad is it that I didn't realize this wasn't a CT4-V video until you got to rear....lol. I think they nailed on looks and it is top 3 in my favorite small luxury sedans for looks.

I’m glad i got mine in 2022 just read the last ct4 is coming off the line may 30 2024..it had a. Year run..after almost two years and 12000 miles i dont regret a thing

That is a good point!
Yet the IS is probably the best deal you or anyone can get in that class of cars. So it is sad to pay a good looking junk while there is better deal in the market. However this caddy is better than the European junk as it seems.

I remember my mom bought a cadillac in like 2000 but the car was a little older than that but it had a digital dash i thought it was the coolest thing lol

That's a real nice sized 4 cylinder too, I like that. Probably should have just thrown in a 3.0 V6 but hey, 310 hp out of a 4 banger ain't half bad! My concern would be reliability. If it were reliable (big if) this model actually intrigues me.

Agree, strong powertrain, great tech, really nice interior and beautiful exterior. I've seen quite a few on the road, and these new Caddy's really catch my eye. They look very high-end. Love the new look

Joe, what am I missing here? A new absolutely stunningly gorgeous Cadillac that is over 300HP, AWD, and loaded for $40K. ? Huh? I looked up a bunch of these for sale and they are MSRPing for $35-40,000. This sure seems like a lot of car for the money. These things are going to be a song and a dance in 24-36 months off lease. I like it!
Same size as 3 Series.. actually a tad longer. . I would never compare this to the smaller cars.. Genesis G70 costs much less than a 3 series.. but nobody compares that car to a 2 series or CLA .

As an ATS4 owner this is slightly longer with more rear legroom. The 4cyl turbo is a couple tenths quicker but I like my V6. The dash material may hide fingerprints but now it looks like dust all over it. I’ll keep mine for a while longer and who knows, maybe I’ll check out the Blackwing. Thanks for sharing it Joe. Since you drove both, would you say the 2.7 L is worth the extra dough over the standard 2.0 L? Was there a difference in the handling?
Like it a lot, especially in this trim and color. Don't believe it has a real spare tire, though, just an inflator kit.

I love the classy interior it has. This is a nice car but the interior looks cheap compared to the ats
I like the brown and beige interior better than the standard black interior that cadillac uses. The brown and beige combination makes the interior look a little more luxurious.

What people don’t understand is these videos are reviews, does not necessarily mean the car is reliable in the long run, this is something you have to discern on your own.
No, the styling is not new, looks like a refresh of the previous ATS. They still didn't fix the only problem I found with the ATS, the small back seat.

I test drove the 2020 ES 350 and it was so noisy on the highway I couldn’t wait to end the drive. I for one will be looking g at these Caddies- maybe the CT5-V. V6 TT.
That’s weird because the LS has something to prevent interior noise
Just got my 2022.. nice so far after day 1…didnt have any issues with the turbo
My best features would be the Bose sound system 😍 and that subwoofer in the back is deep and powerful

A more than beautiful sedan. Interior and exterior is spot on, I see no Zonks. Although the AC vents are very small for the back passengers they should be out on the side pillars, I’ll let it slide though.

I still miss the rich engine tones of the V6 in my 17 year old Acura TL; 4 cylinders have a sound that I find less pleasing. But I suppose if one never had a V6 it wouldn't be much of an issue.

how does a car with 370ftlb torque and over 300hp does 0-60 in mid 5's? A3 with messily 260 does the same.

Isn't compact executive cars equivalent of midsize cars? I think it is bigger than compact cars and it size is similar to non luxury midsize cars.

I'm really liking these new Caddys ...
Nice car, though the interior is bit black and plasticky. Price is not the highest either, so i guess its okay. Black bezels around inforntainenment and old school gages look dated for a brand new car. Cadillac is always close to a great car, like last gen when they ruined it with Cue system. For example the 100+ k new escalade has black switched from a 50k cadillac.
Did it have a sunroof?
I was thinking between this and the mustang mach 1 and honestly this cars kind of a let down, nothing bad but nothing really impressive. The instrument cluster seems outdated

@@lifesAtrip513 because its common tech now. If a Ford Mustang has it, a Cadillac should definitely have it seeing that Cadillac is a luxury brand and luxury cars are usually at the high end of the tech developments.
