George Carlin and "The Even Newer KXOL".
When George worked the board... as he opened the mic key his legs began to bounce up and down. The first time this writer saw this the thought that occurred was "nervous, George?" but quickly realized he did this for "pace".
Ran into George for last time on a Hollywood gig in the late 80's. Same George. Caring. Down to earth.
He was a good man. An unusually good man.
Anyone that knew him would tell you that George Carlin was the real deal.
This one will always miss the man and treasure the gifts his talents gave us all.
