I just want to point out that the year is 2022 and we all sat for an hour and a half listening to a radio show about a story from the 50s that was broadcast live on RUclips
No "we all" didn't..
Some of us play these at faster speeds... and really how many of us are playing it at a slower speed to stretch it to an hour and a half?
@@lokithecat7225 Technically it's an hour and 16 minutes but I saw it live when I wrote the comment and the length of the video was not written yet so I went by the sense of time and I was pretty close I must say.
@@truejaz Since I normally listen at 1.25 takes it about an hour... at that speed it still sounds like Brian, but he's in a rush.
I was curios and tried it at 0.75 (would be about 1.5 hours for the Episode)... but that sounds like Drunk Brian, trying to explain something without slurring.
i like the addition of the ads breaking up the show to be honest, kind of gives the feel of when you watch these game shows on tv

You merely adopted the introversion; I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the stage lights until I was already a freshman, by then they were nothing to me but blinding!
(what i'm saying here is, i've been on that stage, and i've been it-just-didn't-work-out'ed)

I have to wonder if there's ever been a major stage hypnotist that's had their act outright ruined by someone they thought would go along but then got up on stage and purposely ruined it. I've never found any footage of it happening but surely it must have at some point.
They probably have some sort of protocol or bit they do to play it off, I feel like it’s one of the first things they teach you in stage hypnotist school, it could also be that they deal with ppl like that before they even have the chance to do it, they tap the person on the shoulder to get off stage and stuff

S2! So hype! I knew the Mincemeat story many times over, but still sat through Brian's buttery story telling of it at least a few times. Many 👏 to the audio engineers on these.
Beautifully done! I loved the first season and the second season is already just as amazing. I cant wait for episode 2. It is good to know that even with the 'odds' against him, Snodgrass was still able to have one up on Enright and the 21 show.
I was a little surprised by the hands.
Love listening to these episodes. The Styrofoam cup performance is my favorite. So simple, but generates the biggest knee jerk reactions.

I absolutely love these series. I wish there were more of them, like one a month or something. Though that might be impractical as I’m sure Brian and Jason have a busy schedule
I like to think that somewhere there's a universe where TV game shows become a weird form of scripted entertainment ala Pro wrestling. Where people are judged on their ability to act as real competetors and charisma rather than actual intelligence
At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to commit to an hour long video but holy cow, I love what you guys are doing in general but this has to be the cream of the crop for me. In short: I love it and can't wait to see what you've got in store for us next time.

Clearly, you ENJOYED Quizshow. John Turturro was great in that movie as Stemple(spelling?). He's also a great guy. I waited on him a bunch of times when my family owned a restaurant in park slope.
The stage hypnotist at my college was really bad at his job. Sure, I did what I did for fame. But I also did what I did to embarrass the hell out of the guy selling pseudoscience at a university that focused on science and technology. I did _not_ act like a chicken, I took his mike and told him that he was foolish, and that I couldn't be hypnotized.
Am I the only one who thinks that Brian's narration voice here is reminiscent of Casey Kasem?

Wow. Americas Got Talent boo'd you for the styrofoam cup bit AND didn't show the act on Tv? I would understand that they wouldn't want to encourage kids to do a stunt like that but they've shown countless dangerous stunts and pranks before. I bet the judges just got spooked themselves and over reacted but when they realized later how badly they treated you they didn't want to show it on television at the risk they themselves would be ashamed when countless viewers would push back at how you were treated. I personally love the act and always have.
