I've switched to the zman razor shad and haven't gotten a single strike on it as to I I'm using a swimbait I'll catch 2 or 3 on a chatterbait each time
Try cutting bout 3” off of a Zman Turbo FattyZ, get a nice tight wag, and ya can keep it high in the water column if ya want, just a killer trailer for not only chatterbaits! Love your content!
Couple of questions: Can you run a split tail trailer on a regular 3/8oz Chatterbait? What are your favorite Zman jig trailers? What are your favorite Zman baits for Texas rigs?
It's odd to do but I've always kept my old trick worms after using and cut them down and split the tail on it and the action to me is awesome and on the finesse side if that makes sense lol
The ZMan Billygoat is a phenomenal swimjig trailer to imitate bluegill also and the buoyancy helps with the rate of fall
Totally agree!!
Great video!! Thanks for sharing!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!!
Thanks for watching! God bless!
Great information thank you

Thanks man!
The Goat and Menace mimics the vibration that a bluegill puts out? I'd love to see the scientific study behind this lol.
I would like to see the science behind it too lol I think it has to do with how the dart all over all the time

Split tail works great for a trailer and Texas rigged palmetto bug is awesome! 👍
Yes, I like a batwing and a goat for jig trailers and I like flipping a palmetto bug and a goat

That’s a great idea! I’m sure it works great and recycles baits!
thank you
Should have showed how to rig it but great video!
Spunk Shad. Enough said.
In summary you throw every soft plastic on the back of a bladed jig
What is your rod, reel, and line setup when you throw a chatterbait?
I fish a fluke and a spunk shad. That's all I need and they get bit
Hey man if you have your go tos and they work keep on keepin on!
I wonder how a lizard would behave on the back of a jackhammer….
