Nothing wrong with these bikes, sport bikes are a pain in the real world, sore arms and legs, the gsx f is a bike for a thinking rider, ride to work or take a trip it will do it, if you want a rubbish bike ride a Harley
To sum up. It doesnt't have the power of a liter sport bike. It doesn't have the sound of a 25k (base price) Ducati and it doesn't have the comfort of an ADV bike. And all that you can find with 3k or less. I mean.. come on dude. This bike was made for commuting or being a beginner bike until it gets "boring". Don't compare it with the giants
I've had one for about 5 years now. It's definitely the best looking one in its pricing range (if you like sport bikes). It looks way more modern than it really is (pointy nose, one solid headlight, modern cockpit with gear indicator). That is the main reason why I'm loving it and not letting it go (maybe swap it for the GSX 1250). It's also extremely reliable and fairly powerful. I can't really judge the power since it's the first bike I owned, but even when it was restricted to 35KW it could easily hit 230 kmh (140mph). Now that's gotta say something...
i had one from 2013 till 2018, then bought a 2018 gsxr 1000, which i recently just sold, too. I really regret selling the GSX. The 1000 was amazing, but i wish i would've gotten a 600 instead, or just kept the 650. It's plenty fast enough for public roads, comfy, and sounds great with a yoshimura pipe. I put over 60,000k's on mine. Apart from the front shocks giving up leaking around 40k, i never had to do anything to it. Regular oil and filter changes, brake fluid and brake pads, that's it. though i did the oil every 4000k' or so. I originally bought it when i was still on learners, came from a cb125e lol. Handy tip : If yours is a lams model like mine was, removing a single cable from the fuse box completely un-restricts the bike, and gives it full power, so if you can find a lams bike for cheaper, go for it! The only gripe with it was that it is 240kg and you will feel it. My 1000 came in at 203kg wet, but it felt like a feather in comparison, especially in the twisties. While i could never get a knee down on this bike, i could drag them all day on the 1000.....But wayy different bikes, and i know which one i'd rather pick as a long term option. Now i just wish my 6'4 frame would fit a 600.....cbr, r6, daytona 675, gsxr 600....they all feel horribly small and cramped, with the cbr being the absolute worst...I picked my gsxr 1000 because that was the only one that fit me nicely....I might have to try an 848 next!
I think an excellent compromise would be the Ducati Superport 950, or the 950S. Saw one a few days ago and yep, definitely a goer. The GSXR1000 is the most comfy supersport, no doubt about it.

Why are you constantly comparing it to bikes that are 3 times it's price and in totally different categories. It's not a super sport or a Ducati, it's a rub if the mill bike for an average rider who wants bang for the buck.
I have justified my comments numerous time, but let's go again. If you look at the reviews for this bike, A LOT of them say that it's on par with a supersport etc....which it isn't. In this video, I wanted to highlight that it is neither of those things. You know that it isn't Graham, but people considering this bike do not and they deserve to hear the truth. It is, as you say, a run of the mill sort of nothing bike. And it's priced accordingly.
The rub is RUclips doesn't care if you thumbs up or thumbs down on content. They just want to see users are engaging with a video. Best to do nothing other than chew the moron out.

Blue Sky hey man, thanks for your comments. I actually went backwards in power from having owned three blackbirds and a CBR600RR. Waaaaay back in power. I now have an old SV650 which, for me, inspires way more confidence in the way it carries it’s weight and tips in. As I said, the GSX650F is a great bike, but ridden back to back against other bikes, it becomes apparent very quickly where it’s shortcomings are in cornering and braking. The CBR1100XX was also heavy and had no ABS, but those brakes were twice as effective as the ones on my gsx. It could just have been mine. Anyway, as o said in the video, I loved this bike very much and is a great all rounder. 👍

A bike afucking bike . Sick of people's nocking it down .i payed 5.500.second hand .fucking cheap bollicks. Gsxr. Should be on a race track . See a lot of deas boy racers look at me .fucking cant even do a burn out . Gsx650f agood bike .
Exactly. A good bike. And that is what I wanted to get across, that it isn't a racing bike, even though it is kind of looking like one and too many reviews saying that it is.
83 HP is enough!!! Unless you want a sport bike.
It depends on weight though. It was definitely enough on the SV650, not so much on this...just a little more would have been perfect. Around 100.
That's true comenting that's on this motorbike
Thanks for your comment Hubert. 👍
Change exhaust
Why?
@@VroomBroomZoom It's too quiet.
Artur Nowak quiet is good
@@Jeff_Green It must be loud for the cars to hear you! Safety above all!
Artur Nowak That is what a horn is for. If you have to commute early in the morning a quiet exhaust is good.
Hope this is not a practice sales pitch to the prospective buyer.....
😂😂😂 was sold for its intended purpose.... as a commuter. 👍
overall: an average Bike?
Lol, that sums up the video in three words. It does everything well, but nothing spectacularly. 😊
god why did you even bother posting this

Fuck it shits me that content providers waste my time begging for likes and subscriptions in their videos. Just make great content and viewers will do that without you having to whine at them.
Thanks Peter, I actually listened to this feedback and have trimmed down the begging. :)
probably the worst long term review i have ever watched - 10 minutes 36 seconds of drival
Thank you for watching 😊
I managed 29 seconds... Before i reached for the SICK BUCKET and switched off !!!... Who do you think you are ?.. ROLF HARRIS ?..
"Have you guessed what it is yet" possums ✌️
😂😂😂
Thank you for watching
Japan doesn't understand that a F stands for Flail..
lol...nah, it'sa good all rounder cheapy..
That bike low key just got roasted 🤣
Um..........yep. lol. 😬
Its a heavy touring bike.
Sure is....I'd add a heavy slightly-underpowered touring bike.
Is not ducati 😆🤣🤣 and ??? Look a the price and logo SUZUKI GSXF 650
just turn it on and ride it, for fuck's sakes. I want to see it in action not listen to a podcast of your opinions about bikes.

Ffs, look for videos
Turned video off after mins absolutely boring .
Thank you for watching 😊
Too much intro! Stop clicking your tongue! Had to shut it down after two minutes. Boring. Bike review. not rambling.
Thanks bro/sis. Working on it 👍
One sentence to sum this up: This bike is nothing special
In a way, yes. A mild old-school dynamics tourer.
I gives thumbs down and purposely don't subscribe to tubers who push "likes" and "subscribes" in the first 30 seconds of their video. Sorry.
Thanks for watching
I'm sorry you're going to miss out on my future boring crappy content😂😂😂
The rub is RUclips doesn't care if you thumbs up or thumbs down on content. They just want to see users are engaging with a video. Best to do nothing other than chew the moron out.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
WAKE UP KIM! i've got something to say about this bike! 😂😂😂
This bike just doesn't suit you.
Yes I suppose that’s a great final summary. Still, nice bike but 😊
Worst review ever, falling asleep listening to him talk about the mirrors. It's a great bike but he never felt confident on it, i don't feel too confident in his reviews either though so I'm no further 😂
Thanks for watching 😂😂
Oh your only a kid, now I get it, no problem buddy 👍
thomas price thank you for your comment. 👍
Yeah mate I hear you but you could always be your own abs, like us old farts. These bikes do the bends no dramas at all. Maybe don't buy yourself a real handful before you master this one? Or do a track day with some instruction , how to settle and relax, countersteer trail brake . Unfortunately for me,I didn't to begin with a had some bad wrecks that cost heaps and broke bones. Some of us dumbfux will only learn the hard way aye but take from this old fella, when you know better you do better, easy as. Ride safe mate and be lucky 😜
The worst review ever...
Thank you 👌
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Wake up Jeff!
i gave up on this vid, it's like pulling teeth. Get to the point in the first minuet then explain.
I kind of did....in two minds about this bike. Can't be any more clear or transparent than that. 😂
get to the fucking point
Watch the fucking video 😂😂😂
