It would be better to replace the hdd with the dvd, with the ssdt and caddy instead of the hdd, because stata3 speed is provided there! The dvd only has sata2!

Not sure. My advice is put the SSD to the DVD slot because the original HDD slot is have some shock protection.

It does cap the speed! You shouldn't do it this way! Put your SSD in place of the old HDD and put the HDD in this contraption...You want the SSD to be your boot drive. Why even do this?

I having problems to upgrade the memory ram. I try it with a 2gb and with a 4gb ddr4 2400mhz but it just dont recognize anything. Actually it worked one time but as soon i restart the computer it doesnt work anymore. Should i assume its a slot problem? Or i need a 2133mhz exaclty like the on board memory? EDIT: confirmed the GPU uses extra space in the motherboard that other models of this laptop simply don't have, so I can use the free space for the SSD. Anyway, mind giving me referral links to 8GB and 12GB RAM slots compatible with this laptop? So I can help you out (4GB is not a lot, and I'm not sure adding only 8GB is a good idea, when I can get up to a total of 16GB).

I have the 320 15ik 81BG I downloaded and run app for specs and also read the specs from the manual both tels that has two slots for ram and 1 already on(4gb) i opened my laptop to upgrade it to 16 gb with two modules of 8gb and "boom shacka laka " has no slot in there and I have the idea that has build in memory now how can I upgrade I can give back the ram and take one module of 16 gb with no charge but it will be compatible? and why the spec tells me that has two modules.

@@tomasbarbieri2659 He connected the new SSD using the caddy instead of removing the the main Windows installed HDD... Its better to Clean install the windows to the SSD and move other files to the HDD.. So when we boot the laptop.. It will boot FAST AF.... Its better to replace the Main HDD with that SSD and use the HDD in the caddy as an Secondary Storage device or another drive..

I have an ideapad 330 with 4 GB onboard ram. I was thinking of making it 12GB ram by adding a 8GB in the one and only vacant ram slot available. Is this recommended, many people tell me that you should keep the ram evenly split for example two 4GB ram paired together. I would like your opinion on this if 12 GB is suitable what 8GB ram would you recommend me to buy.

It depends if your application would need the total 12GB RAM and can utilize it. For normal usage the total of 8GB should be OK

The SSD is needed and you will need to install the windows 10 into the SSD and choose as first boot so you will get the speed boost benefit.

KL Gamers Gta v will use more ram after a few minutes so it will use the hard disk and you will experience lag. I think using a ssd instead will give you better performance.
I like how the mother board has the solder points for M.2 compatiblitly but hasn't soldered the female connecter making it possible to use M.2....

Gerard Gutierrez I bought 9.5mm caddy and it fits perfectly but i think you can use 9mm but you should put a plastic or paper to immobilize it in the dvdrom
