@@olleahora8225 : In Nadi Shuddhi (Nadi Sodhana), there is no count for breathing in or breathing out. It has to be natural to ones one capacity. Don't forcefully inhale or exhale. Also, breath should be not held (i.e. kumbhaka should not be done) in Nadi Shuddhi. Nadi Shuddhi is for cleansing of the nadis, the energy pathways. Once a person has done Nadi Shuddhi for sufficient period, then he or she steps into Pranayama where the ratio (or count) for breathing has to be considered and also kumbhaka (breath retention) can be practised. Caution: Without proper Guru's guidance, if Kumbhaka is done, for some, it might lead to uterus prolapse, rectum prolapse, hernia.
