Some of you probably have guessed that this video is coming after knowing that we went to Schiphol last month. So here it is, our aviation film celebrating 100 Years KLM. KLM is kind of the 'real' oldest airline in the world because itself exists since 1919 while British Airways chose a date at which an airline was founded that later merged into British Airways which itself was founded in 1978.
We decided to include ATC this time because recording is allowed in Amsterdam, and not forbidden like in Germany and Great Britain. Tell us what you think about it, is it too loud, too silent or do you prefer aviation films without ATC?

Außergewöhnlich video! That Dreamliner in front of the moon was definitely the highlight shot of this film for me here. The music choice was once again excellent; very inspiring and fitting and adds to the footage very well. Alles gute, meine fruende! :-)

What camera do you use on that?
Its mainly shot in 4K on the Canon EOS R with a Canon EF 70-200 f2.8 L II. For some shots (e.g. KLM 777 Waterspray Takeoff and touchdown shots) we used a 2x extender to make the lens a 140-400 f5.6. The upsidedown water reflection shot (0:16) was shot using a Canon EF 24-105 f3.5-5.6 lens. There are also 3 FullHD shots in this video: The condensation 777 (0:25) in the beginning and the Fokker shot at Taxiway Q (1:23) were shot on a Nikon D5500 with a Tamron 70-300 f4-5.6. Anthony Fokker (1:07) was shot on the Canon 700D with a Canon EF-S 55-250 f4-5.6.
