that newsreader voice is the best for his role. It makes it even more tense.
This game had the perfect ending. Fisher laughing at the president saying “history will not forget.” Then picking up the phone and in his gravelly badass voice “hello Lambert.” I still try to mimic that the perfection of that line over a decade later.
Would say the same to Chaos Theory's ending and its casualness.
Of course, Pandora Tomorrow's own Hitman-esque ending is still good.

Of all the things I miss in the new Splinter Cell games (interrogating guards at knife point for example) these cutscenes from the news station were always awesome. Filled you in on the plot/story of the games, also.
I love how Russia's just up there during all this 😂 not a burp from them. It's Georgia,There's just no way they would sit back and watch all this go down 😆
@@usa-1129 In hindsight that is true. Still, nice to have some games that don’t go the Hollywood route where Russia’s not the ‘big bad,’ regardless of what year they’re from.
There's also General Fisk and his heart attacks (the fourth of which kills him come Pandora Tomorrow).

@@michaelandreipalon359 it’s a very old meme format with bold text (top and bottom) during 2000s/mid 2010s.
I much prefer this classic version of Grim than the current one that she is right now. Never did like her new character in Conviction and Blacklist. Always did dig her as the voice guiding me and shit in games 1 and 2.
What about the third game, Chaos Theory?

Still one of the best stealth games available for the PC, alongside its sequel Chaos Theory.
Shame Pandora Tomorrow is abandonware. It's rough compared to the two games I mentioned, but it's still good and a bit essential.
Edit: By the way, 3:23 is actually playing "Enmity" of Empire Earth fame and Ancient Aliens infamy.
2nd edit: The cutscene at 12:22 should be at 1st November and on U.S. airspace; this error is a leftover from the inferior PS2/Gamecube port of the game, which has a mission about a Kola nuclear power plant and stolen Americium (which is subtly yet confusingly mentioned in the Chinese Embassy 2 mission).
