Angela, you making a mistake and not hiding it shows all of us that you are so ethical and passionate about your desire to share your knowledge with us. Thank you for being you! Thank you for being the remarkable woman I admire so much. If I never sell anything I am still so happy that you came into my life! You bring joy and hope to me! You make it easy for me to believe that I can do this and be successful! Thank you so much!
she wasted time making the video. i was so confused the entire time. i downvoted this video. angela is too chatty. i admire her skill, but she's not a good educator.
It's comforting to know your machine is as loud as mine. I keep thinking something is wrong, but it's not. I appreciate the good teaching as well as the admission of mistake making... VERY encouraging to an old lady!!
I'm so glad I found your videos. I bought a used embroidery machine about 8 years ago and it has been in the back of my closet ever since because I was afraid of it. I think I'm gonna finally pull it out, thank you for not editing out your mistakes. You've got a new subscriber 😊
Just a friendly suggestion.....you should cut the thread at the spook and pull it out from the needle instead of pulling it all out from the top because you are pulling the thread in a direction that the machine wasn’t meant to have it go. I’ve been told that pulling the tread out that way can cause jams as well as shreds of the thread to potentially jam up the machine and tension plates.
I just said that to my husband the other day when I was pulling backward. I wondered if the thread bits were going to build up and cause issues later. Then I see your comment...again. I saw your comment before I bought my pe800 and had no clue what you meant. I do now. Lol. Thanks!
I was never confident enough to do applique until your videos. Thank you so much Angela! I just got my first t-shirt order for a little boy and I want it to be perfect like one you would send a customer. Going to sew now. THANK YOU!
I just got my brother se 600 embroidery/sewing machine, I am new at this , you make it look so easy the way you just lay the pieces of material down and sew them. I can't wait to start making stuff. I like how you make it so easy without changing colors on the machine. Please keep these types of videos coming. Thank you for your tutorials!
YOU'VE COME A LONG WAY BABY! lol.. To see your growth in just over a year is amazing. You are such a great role model for young people wanting to start their own small business. WTG Angela!!
So nice to see someone that actually posts their mistakes, it is a great way for others to learn, and that way they don't expect themselves to be perfect after the first video. I am entertaining getting an embroidery machine and came across this video thank you!
I allowed my husband talk me out of doing this and it was back in 2014, I’m about to buy my machine. I’m so excited because these videos really help you understand the process.
Ordered and received my thread, needles, bobbins. Through your links so you get all the credit :) Now just need the stabilizers, and spray. Having to stretch between paydays. Thank you so much for this video! It has helped me so much. God bless you and your family :)
I'm not watching to start any kind of embroidery business. I enjoy sewing and I've always wanted an embroidery machine to add that extra to certain projects. Since this machine can accept -- from what I've read -- larger hoops, I think it would be great since it's pretty inexpensive. Great tutorial! Love your videos :)
Hi Angela! I just bought a used PE150 machine & I am now just starting on your video's. I have really enjoyed & hopefully I will be able to learn a lot from you. I laughed with you & not at you when you realized you completed this project for your daughter's shirt backwards. I can tell just by watching your video's not only is it going to be very informative but also a lot of fun as well. Thank you for this & I'm looking forward to catching up.
Not only the t-shirt but you too are super cute 😉!! Successful businesswoman, mum, wife and a teacher. THANK YOU for making our life so much easier by teaching us the How’s to ... I stumbled across *Embroidery* literally just a week ago and although I know ZERO about this art I instantly fell in LOVE with it. Your videos are such a great help!!! You make it look like a piece of a cake 🙈 😄. You are highly inspiring. Thank you THANK YOU thank you 🥰
You are da Best!! I've been sewing and doing embroidery for a long while and I still was super scared of doing applique. Now thanks to you I will totally give it a try ❤️
I did that exact same thing making a shirt for my daughter. No way I was throwing that shirt away. I work too hard for my money. I just flipped it over and embroidered something else in matching colors on the front of the shirt and she loved it. I just tell everyone it was part of the creative process.
I want to start doing embroidery nd i love your video i feel like i learn something new in each video about embroidery even as little as a mistake that can make a big difference
I caught this boo boo right when you started, when you said it wasn’t placed right I said yes it is Angela lol. But then I thought maybe you intended it to be on the back. But Your awesome for still showing that you made a mistake and even the best embroiders can make mistakes!! Your a great teacher because you talk slow enough for newbies and your very clear with your instructions thanks again and I’m a follower for your page so keep up the good work, don’t get boring please!!
Angela, Your energy and genuine spirit has me motivated. I have never embroidered, but the PE800 is on the way. I followed your links to make sure I am getting the right supplies. I am so excited about the possibilities.
We're all human girl!! All make mistakes!! We learn by our mistakes and by others making mistakes (which is why parents always tell our children to learn by their mistakes but never listen but they remember what is said later in life LOL) thank you for sharing and teaching us!!!!
Omg! That’s so easy! I literally was hooping the damn shirt instead of floating it like you did. I can’t tell you how frustrating it was when I first started and how many times I had to redo the hooping. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I’m going to do it your way from now on...even though I got pretty good at hooping it the hard way. Thank you for this video.
!!! ANGELA JASMINA !!! YOU MELT MY HEART AND BRING ME JOY, thank you for sharing, thank you for be so wonderful teacher, you really mean to be a GREAT HUMAN BEEN, you are motivating all ages of womens and mens with your example, congratulation for all your achievements, especially for your beautiful Family, God bless you all. You are a leader that many will follow, I HOPE, FOR ALL THE TEENAGERS THAT LOOK AT YOUR LIFESTYLE AND LEARN GREAT THINGS AND SKILLS IN LIFE, You Brave and Intelligent, and if you can, many of us will do to.
I was “Today years old” when I discovered your page... You have become an inspiration after only a couple of videos. I wish you could train me on my embroidery machine. I always walk away before I toss it across the room 🥴
I was in the same page and I apply for a PayPal credit card thanks god got approved. My credit is not that good. I just order mine at brothers they have it for 750$ and I bought it with my PayPal credit card who gives me 6 months to pay without interest.
Love your videos! My wife just bought me a se600 as I've never sewn or embroiderd before so it seemed like a great machine to learn on! Once I get that figured out the pe800 is definitely going to be my next purchase!
I had my Brother PE770 embroidery machine for a while now and I never thought about embroidering an applique until now. Been doing baseball caps and patches. Thank you for doing this video. :)
I love your videos! I learn so much. I just got my PE800 & your video on the machine has taught me a lot. Thank you so much! I love that u keep the mistakes because that way we learn also. We learn from mistakes. Please make more videos with this machine since it’s what most of us can only afford. Can you show how to determine how we have the correct tension? Should the stitches be tight or smooth? I think my stitches are tight & I’m not sure if they r supposed to be tight. Thank you
Hi im from the Philippines ..new subscriber ..its amazing watching ur video.. learning how to do that embroidery and how to use the machine.. inspired everyone what you doing ..i hope maybe i can do that..but reality i can't afford that..only a dream lol..my daughter single mom want little business just like you..soon..she try to have savings to buy machine like printing for t-shirts .. anyway i enjoy watching your video..keep safe and godbless 🙏😍
If you haven’t discovered them yet, I saw another video where the crafter used bobbin/thread huggers to keep the excess fabric out of the embroidery area. You wouldn’t have to hold the fabric away with your hands.
I like that design. Sorry there were issues with the final product, but thank you for keeping it really with mistakes that we all make no matter how long we have been doing embroidery.
Oh my, how much fun was that going back to the old school I the bought the six needle right after I got the PE 800 and it’s hard to go back to that one LOL
Amazing video totally love how you show all your steps and even mistakes. I am wondering what machine you would currently recommend since this video was 2 yrs ago. Thank you in advance
I like the reveal when you first are wondering if you stitched the shirt to itself, then you realize you stitched on the back of the shirt...LOL. Thank you for sharing that you're human so others know that when we make mistakes... we can be creative to figure out how to use the spoiled shirt. Maybe cut it out and make a patch for a blanket or a pillow or sew onto a sweatshirt ? So cute!
I'm new at this and from the bottom of my heart thank you for sharing!!!! Can you please tell me what type of color fabric you are using because I'm loving the look❤
I hope you get some sort of commission on this because I just bought this machine and accessories because of your videos. It always seemed so complicated but you make me feel like I can do it. I also subbed after I realized I’ve watched so many of your videos and I still hadn’t subscribed yet.
que hermoso te quedo!! se que ahora con tus nuevas machines is more easy and fast, but you did very good job!! hahaha important see where going to be de design...
Hi Angela I love your videos you are honest with us. I start embroidery in my machine thanks to you. But I don't know any program to use. Can you help in that matter.
I keep package sealing tape wound backwards onto itself to catch escaping bits of thread or to roll onto a fabric surface. If i need to get into a small space like hooped fabric, i make a small roll sticky side out to collect small bits.
Thank you for sharing Angela It’s so funny because I asked in yesterday video can we add fabric to the design that you do so thank you so much for sharing that
The Home Depot has very small clamps, They are kinda like clothes pins but metal and plastic about 1 1/2 inches high. Very inexpensive. I use 2-4 of them to clamp my fabric to the frame when doing tees to keep the fabric out of the way. Just make sure they are out of the way of the needle. Also you can undo one side seam to make more room and then serge the seam when you are done.

Angela is amazing taking her time to show us newbies to use tgis machine
I have been watching your recent videos. It's so cool to bump into this one from 3 years ago! Very encouraging for this newbie. ❤
It's comforting to know your machine is as loud as mine. I keep thinking something is wrong, but it's not. I appreciate the good teaching as well as the admission of mistake making... VERY encouraging to an old lady!!
Me too, I’m so paranoid that something is broken I sometimes worry I’m damaging the machine!
I'm so glad I found your videos. I bought a used embroidery machine about 8 years ago and it has been in the back of my closet ever since because I was afraid of it. I think I'm gonna finally pull it out, thank you for not editing out your mistakes. You've got a new subscriber 😊

Thanks for the suggestion because I am thinking about getting into this.
In all sewing machines, not just embroidery. Excellent public sewing announcement :)
Yes, because you do not want to pull all that lint back thru the machine.
I just said that to my husband the other day when I was pulling backward. I wondered if the thread bits were going to build up and cause issues later. Then I see your comment...again. I saw your comment before I bought my pe800 and had no clue what you meant. I do now. Lol. Thanks!

I start embroidery in my machine thanks to you. But I don't know any program to use.
Can you help in that matter.
I love that you include us in your process. Im very interested in you business education. I just read about.
Loved this video of yours!! Also many thanks because I kind of gave up on tshirts but I am now more confident from watching this. Thank you!!
Really helpful to see it all in real time w/ mistakes so I am prepared when I do the same.
I keep package sealing tape wound backwards onto itself to catch escaping bits of thread or to roll onto a fabric surface. If i need to get into a small space like hooped fabric, i make a small roll sticky side out to collect small bits.
Thank you for sharing Angela It’s so funny because I asked in yesterday video can we add fabric to the design that you do so thank you so much for sharing that
I have also hooped backwards. All we can do is laugh about it. You’re such a sport about it 🙂
It’s adorable 😍
