Girllllll😘 I only started watching you since a day ago & I've learned soo much. I crochet. I sew. & now I will be embroidering. Thank you for sharing. I appreciate all your uploads
Whew a size 9 needle - Yikes! I embroider on marine vinyl every day and the needles I keep in my machine are the TITANIUM coated which glide through the vinyl smoother. The titanium needles also last longer as they don't get dull as quickly. The titanium ones I use in my 15 needle machine are Organ DBxK5 PD 75/11 (PD stands for Perfect Durability) and AllStitch has them. I buy a box of 100 at a time. Melco takes the same needles. You may want to give them a try for that embroidery vinyl! I keep them in when I'm embroidering on everything, not just the marine vinyl.
I do also use Titanium needles in my Brother and Babylock multi needle machines. They are the Organ 15x1 ST 11PD. The ST means a larger eye for the needle threader to be able to work. The 11 means size 75/11. PD is Perfect Durability which indicates they're the Titanium. These needles stay sharp longer than the regular EBBR needles so you don't have to change them as often. And the Titanium coating makes them glide through the vinyl smoother without the drag/sticking that can happen with the vinyl and regular needles. I buy a box of 100 from MJ Sewing & Vinyl.
A fusible polymesh is what works best on t-shirts from my experience. Also, I’ve been using the multi needle machines for almost 17 years and I always backup 30 stitches on a thread break.
yes please do an side by side test and see which is faster and what it looks like after. I so want to get one but scared that it will collect dust like a few other things I have bought and thought that I would use
Btw. Thanks for going into the stabilizer and settings for melco. The speed is great but I had to use 3 pieces of stabilizer on a cotton tshirt to get it not to pucker. I’m learning slowly so it’s good to see how you are stabilizing differently on melco vs brother and tear away vs cut away. Etc. thanks again!

Oh and I keep meaning to mention... you need a pair of serger tweezers for threading needles!! I keep a pair by each of my machines. They make grabbing the thread behind those sharp needles so much easier, and painless!!!
I got the Melco I have had it for 3mo, ITS A NIGHTMARE of a machine !!! Babylock and Brother are way nicer, than Melco Machine yes melco goes faster but with so many thread breaks and issues, it takes 4x longer to do the design, Worse mistake I have ever made /
Do you ever use spray adhesive for your bottom tear away? I know you sell it now but how come I can’t find any EMBROIDERY VINYL? They must call it Faux fax leather?
You need to take up a musical instrument like drums or perhaps a trombone, so you can play it during the day when the kids finally decide it's time to sleep. That way they can learn what it's like to be kept awake when THEY WANT to sleep. In the end though, this is nothing more than your average "Mom Curse", where they always say "I hope your kids are just like you when you grow up. Ta Dah! You are now the grown up wanting sleep desarately. I have no doubt that your parents would just laugh if they see this.
I have recently started an Etsy. I have been watching videos of people how have Etsy shops and a lot talk about how they are doing 100+ orders all the time, I don’t know if I could handle that many.
I nad to stop watching you. It broke my heart. If I could email you, I could explain my situation. Congratulations on your new baby adorable. So happy you found you a shop. I'm so proud of you❣️
Hi there. I just got my melco and I'm bit confused. My stitching looks so bad. Can you please make a video about tension and actif-feed? What are your settings for your shirts? thank you
Hiii! I use 65/9 ball point ORGAN needles ( from allstitch.com) Actifeed at 6or 7. Presser foot 2 click from the bottom! You can email me if you need more help!
Gracias. Saludos.
I just started following you onRUclips and I'm totally impressed by you. I'm a grandmother of 5 and I'm trying to encourage by Grands, that range from 22 to 5 years old, to be creative. My 5 and 8 year olds started designing their own t-shirts jus two days ago. I need to have them look at your videos also. You are encouraging and informative. Maybe I'll start sewing again.
You can also get polymesh in beige, which will really be invisible on a white shirt. I’m telling you it will work. You can use two layers of polymesh - rotate one layer 45° from the other layer. I know of OESD, and Floriani. I’m sure there’s more but those are two brands that I know about. I know that they have a fusible polymesh, which I think only comes in white, but they have one that isn’t fusible and that comes in white, beige and in black. Also, book because your shirts are so nice and thick maybe it would help to put a water soluble topping underneath your satin stitches. I know 0ESD’s name is StitcH20. Off the top of my head I do not remember the exact name of Floriani’s WSS.
Hi Angela. Are the Melco machines American manufactured? Also i now recognize that I will be needing to buy an industrial type embroidery machine as I will be making a lot more than 5 shirts a day! Thanks.
You are so amazing. I'm new to your channel and I can't stop watching your work. You gave me support to try to make something for myself. I’m still wondering what machine would be for me so I’m interested in your opinion on the RICOMA EM 1010? I'm sending you a big hi from Croatia. Btw here I don't have too much choice to choose a machine. What sewing thread do you use? Thank you so much for the wonderful videos. You are my support and I want to learn from you.
So when you wash the shirt, does the tear-away that you left under the tender touch break up and create a mess? I’ve always worried about the little pieces I leave behind and how it holds up after washing. Also, are you happy w/the layering of the cut-away & the tear-away experiment? TY! 💕
I don't know how to message, but I was wondering how I can get a business plan layout. I am in the process of lining all my ducks up, but I can really use a few pointers and tips pretty please.
Hi Angela, yes I would like to see the race. I was wondering what was the thin material that you put on the finished embroidered tshirt before you pressed it. What is the purpose of that. And what is the machine called that you used to press it with?
Hi , Love your work ethic, never change your attitude your gifted 💕 you must get your Thread wholesale cause you have got to go thru a lot of thread 🧵 both stitch and Bobbin lol
I congratulate your efforts in building a profitable and professional businesses. I want to do what you do, exactly how you do it. How can I get started?
Hey Angela, I would be interested in seeing the new Brother machine go up against the Melco. I think it would also help people make a choice between the 2 machines. For my part though, I will be getting the Melco. I just have to wait a few months. Love your videos and congratulations on your blanks business, your new home, and new car. Girl you are killing it.
