Iam natural but I lobe to whatch your videos it is so interesting how you do your hair and what you use for it. I always thought relaxed hair can't be healthy but you proved me wrong. Your hair looks soo great and the blond streaks in front of your hair look so cool.
I love how our community is including everyone now. Personally I never deep condition and I have waist length hair. I just wash n grease my scalp and I'm done.

That's my motto I love conditioners I love leave in conditioner that I love love love love conditioner conditioner conditioner because it does change your hair for the better :-) thank you ever so kindly hope and pray that you and your family enjoy your Christmas period. Hey girl hey!! So glad for another video! Your hair is looking great! I knew you were a fellow NYer, lol!! I was thinking to myself she sounds like me!!
The clash of style between your hair and your top is interesting. Your hairstyle has an edgy tomboyish (90's tlc & Aaliyah) look but your top gives soft.
So happy for a new video from you! I just got my hair relaxed about 5 wks ago at a salon and I can't get my fingers through my hair at all. Is it important for the relaxer to be combed through? My stylist just smoothed with her fingers
Yes you do need to comb through it to straighten the hair (that’s always how they relaxed my hair in the salon so that’s what I did when I self relaxed also)
@@MilatresseVee Thank you for your reply! My hair is knotted terribly. I don't know if I should get a corrective relaxer and have it combed through or wait until my touch up time (in February)?
I’m not a expert but if my hair was in that condition I would want a corrective relaxer. My edges didn’t get straight enough to my liking when I self relaxed the first time so I corrected it.
Hi I really love your hair regimen and cant wait for the next videos. Honestly I copied it and it helped me out alot. Can I ask the name brand of your hair dryer? I have one but its a cheaper one and cant go past 20 minutes on high lol.
Love your hair girl! I have tried the keracare detangling shampoo once and it is very unique. It has a lot of slip, my hair was also very shiny after using it. My hair was still tangly though so going to keep using it and see what's up
I am relaxed and do hot oil treatment and massage everyday. Is it too much? Or should i continue doing that? I just wanted to know from experienced one.
Clarifying shampoos are used to get rid of product build up that accumulates onto the scalp and hairshaft. Masks conditioner sealing oils etc You need to clarify so when you put a new product such as an oil it can penetrate the hairshaft. If you dont clarify it wont penetrate and do the job. Best clarifying results are obtained with clay.
@@taiyang_x tbh any powder clay will do the job. You have bentonite clay which is easy to use, you have maroccan ghassoul which is perfect for curly hair (it makes the curls more defined). Those clay not only get rid of product build up but they also strenghtens and acts as a conditioner to the hair. I am Tunisian and the clay in my country cleans the hair but also make it slippy (like a conditioner) so its very easy to detangle it and brush it. However they dont sell tunisian clay online. Ive checked on amazon and theres mainly bentonite and ghassoul. The type of brand doesnt matter really. Just choose a clay thats suitable to your budget, they all do the same (check the ingredients to make sure its 100% clay) and lastly, maroccan is slightly more effective in removing dirt from the hair than bentonite so personally I would go for that one. However I need to warn you that it makes a mess in the shower! Thats why they invented clarifying shampoos but its like trying to reinvent the wheel. Nothing is more effective than clay when it comes to clarifiying.
@@katvond1125 should i use the clay once a month? i deep condition weekly and i think clarifying with the clay will help open up the follicles in my scalp and really penetrate the shaft to get the full effects of the deep conditioning mask
@@taiyang_x clarifying once a month is enough and perfect. When using clay, make sure you dont use a metal spoon because the metal reacts with the clay and make it ineffective. Use wood, plastic, etc just not metal. Also if you want to have a healthy scalp so that oils, masks etc penetrate it, you need to get rid of sulfate and silicone shampoos and conditioner. Why? Because silicone even though it makes your hair feel soft and shiny on the outside, it makes a layer on the scalp and hairshaft therefore when you put any masks or oil on it, it wont penetrate it, it will just sit on top of that layer and it will just go down the drain next time you shower. And sulfate get rid of silicones but makes your hair soooo dry and frizzy because it is soooo harsh on the hair hence you needing what ? Silicone ! Its a vicious circle the industry has created to make your hair addicted to their product. Hence why we should get out of it and why I prefer clay, it does both, cleans the hair from all product build up and conditions it. Then you can put any mask on it (make sure theres no silicones in it though or the clarifying step would have been useless! ) and it wil absorb. Theres a brand called calia that makes silicone and sulfate free shampoos if you want however theyre on the expensive side so I'll send you a video that explains how to recognise a silicone free product. Usually its written on it BUT you still need to check the ingredient lists to make sure.
When my edges are not laying down I use Murray’s edge wax on straight hair, if my hair is in a textured style or I’m doing a sleek ponytail I will use eco styler gel and ebin edge tamer on top ❤️

Why would you need more trims? You hair looks great. However often you are trimming your hair is perfect.
Great video! Lots of good information. Thanks! Do you ever pre-poo?
Thank you Karla! yes over night with oil or same day with olaplex. other than that nope
How do you wrap your hair. My hair is almost as long as yours. But it's just to hard to wrap
Check out my night time routine video, I show how I wrap my hair at night ❤️

How do you keep your edges laid? Mine only stays laid for a couple weeks after a relaxer.
