Her hair is nice, but Indigenous Strandz, Ebony's Curly TV and 22nd Century Woman are right here with their length.
@@saamahlouis-jean5413 I shouldn't have said all the naturals cause I know some have her length or longer but, some of them that bitch about relaxers and shit don't have this length or health even! Just because your hair is not chemically damaged doesn't mean it's not mechanically damaged.
@@BrookeaCookea this is her first touch up. Holla at me about her hair in a year or two . Guaranteed it won’t be this nice. Growing her hair in its natural state is what got it this length. Do your research on relaxers before you speak it takes 90% of our natural hair strength. Her hair is pretty. I wish her well. But once you’ve seen this movie before you know how it’ll end.
@@lison973 All she gotta do is do protein treatments (strengthens hair), keep it moisturized, and trim it regularly.
@@BrookeaCookea haha protein as a repair mechanism for chemically damaged hair which is only temporary. She will forever be indebted to a chemical in attempts to maintain this look. The more chemical she is uses over the years the more fragile the hair. Furthermore this relaxer may prove detrimental to her health down the line. It makes for a great YT vid for likes and clicks but at what costs? Last set of facts. Virgin Caucasian hair can go through 35,000 cycles on a hair tension machine before breaking. Virgin African hair 5500, and Relaxed African hair 550. That’s right out of a Trichology book. There’s no way. Please know your facts if you desire to counsel black women on what’s best for them. Btw I’m natural for the last 3yrs and waist length, so no hateration here.

I’m about to relax my wave nouveau permed hair. It’s been six ninth since I got the wave nouveau and I’m ready fir a change. My hair shed like crazy, my hair line vanished. Thankfully it come back now, but it was scary for a minute there. I documented my journey on my RUclips channel. I would highly not recommend the wave nouveau curly perm

Yes I am i been really consistent for the past 5/6 years. I grew my hair from BSL to waist length maybe 2 years im really not 100% sure

I kinda miss having a perm the last time I had one my hair broke off but my iron was low so I'm sure that had alot to do with it.

I just got a relaxer about a month ago from my hair stylist. I was wondering why I have underprocessed looking portions all over and can't run my fingers through my hair at all... she didn't comb the relaxer through at all. I would like to try relaxing at home, but I'm a bit nervous. Especially now that I have these areas that need to be corrected.
I was always told to not comb through the relaxer. Umm, maybe the stylist could have smoothed the relaxer better. Hopefully you can ace it at home!!!

Anywhere from 16-24 weeks, mostly around 20 weeks tho

Girl !!! I really actually never knew that 😂 I been relaxed since the 5th grade and my 2 hairstylists always combed through my relaxer. And so did the other hairstylists in the salon so i was lost when people told me this was not a thing lol BUT I will say I never had any issues so i think im in the clear🤷🏽♀️ thanks for the tip though
